The aroma is fruity and malty. The appearance is is amber with a small head. The flavor is like the aroma. The palate is pretty good. I like it very well.

Tap. Mostly clear amber pour with a small head. Caramel aroma and taste, but as others mention, it comes across stale.

burg326 (1115) - Florida, USA - AUG 5, 2011
On draft at Kelly’s, poured a clear copper with a hint of caramel, slight roast aroma. Not much carbonation and sort of leaves a stale aftertaste after each sip.

hopscotch (7542) - Vero Beach, Florida, USA - SEP 13, 2010
Draft… Clear copper ale with no head. The aroma is quite restrained, but there are muted notes of chocolate, caramel and toasted nuts. Barely medium-bodied with very little carbonation. Uninspired flavor. Nothing wrong or flawed, just very catholic. Well-balanced, at least. Watery, somewhat refreshing finish. As GoT mentioned, the low carbonation really gives the beer a stale slant.

polomagnifico (942) - Saginaw, Michigan, USA - APR 16, 2010
On tap. Aroma is sweet caramel malts with some roasty tones. Dark red with an average sized head. Sweet taste with a little bitterness on the finish. Medium bodied and soft. Nothing special.

GodOfThunder (1218) - Orlando, Florida, USA - JUL 1, 2009
Draft at brewpub. Really low carbonation, that is pretty detrimental to the beer overall. The malt character is fine, with some nice roastiness and caramel. Nothing too special going on in the nose. I enjoy the flavor, but the lack of carbonation almost makes it seem a little stale.

Tmoney99 (7311) - Cincinnati, Ohio, USA - JUN 17, 2008
Draft at brewpub. Poured a hazy ruby color with a moderate fizzy white head that diminished slowly with good lacing. Medium sweet malty aroma. Medium body with soft carbonation. Medium sweet flavor with a medium bittersweet finish of moderate duration. Another average drinkable brew.

Draught at Kellys Caribbean Bar & Grill & Brewery, Key West. Hazy red/amber color, no head. Malty aroma, some chocolate notes. Spicy malty flavor with some rather bad hops.

Wiseblood (700) - Clarksville, Tennessee, USA - MAR 23, 2007
Dark red color with a small quick head. Fruity malt aroma. Comes across pretty sweet with some caramel malts and not much hops. Refreshing, with a good flavor and no apparent bitterness.
