Draught into a growler. Pours a hazy amber color with a very small head on it. Nose is grassy and wheaty with some great floral hoppiness over the top of it. Taste is slightly bitter, but with a lot of light floral elements to brighten it up. I quite enjoyed this one.

This is a sticky, heavy IPA with a lot of malt and a lot of citrus and floral hops. It pours from the can an almost opaque golden tan with a brief head. The aroma is grapefruit and sweet malt, and the flavor is more of that with a bright, very bitter finish. I canít taste the alcohol. Surprising with this high ABV. I liked this.

Fresh can purchased in Queens Village, NY. The smell is pineapple, grapefruit, and citrus rind. The appearance is murky, hazy, and has sediment in the bottom of the glass. Taste wise Iím somewhat surprised. Itís very mild, and I tasting citrus w/a touch of pepper. I was thinking it would have a stronger flavor. And I taste 0% alcohol. Palate wise itís medium to medium/heavy. Itís quite pleasant. Overall Iíd say this is an amazingly easy drinking beer - dangerously so. Because the 10% ABV is so well hidden I could drink a 4 pack and not realize how pickled I really am! Wonderful brew,... Brooklynís Kelso had this pretty much perfected.

Unfortunately the hops don't cover up the rubbing alcohol flavors that come from this one. The beer does not hold any head and the carbonation fades away into a heavy alcohol beer. Prepare for a headache!

Can sample at a tasting at Beer & Beyond, Tel Aviv. Clear copper with low creamy off-white head. Aroma is hoppy, onion, fruity, cheesy, malty. The taste is as the nose, light bitterness, grassy, malty, light sweetness, buttery. Light carbonation. Medium to full body. Sticky bitter aftertaste.

Can sample at a tasting at Beer & Beyond shop. Clear orange-amber with a huge head. Tropical fruits, grapefruit, caramel and piney aroma. Sweet, fruity and citrusy, caramel malts, strong hoppy bitterness, very boozy. Medium-bodied, sticky on palate. A bit too sweet and heavy.

Cask, "dry hopped with mosaic". Deep orange with greenish tint, small off-white foamy head, sharp hops aroma, low carbonation, somewhat flat taste with an explosion of alcohol and hops half a second later, medium finish with bitter aftertaste. Very strange mixture of flat and sharp effects, not sure I liked it very much.

12 oz. can. It pours a dark orange color with an off white head. The aroma is piney with tropical fruit and hints of brown sugar and caramel. The flavor is mildly sweet with strong bitter pine. The sweetness is a bit off-putting with some envelope glue and brown sugar, but it finishes with a smooth yet powerful bitterness. The alcohol is well hidden, but comes across as a phenolic sweetness. Above average.

Canned, mine at 10% abv even. Nose strong piny hops with lighter grass and misc wood, slightly green but with strong citrus, spice, and especially dough right up the middle. Pours copper-dark golden with slow light carb and a beige head. Taste strongly bitter (touch rubbery) with dulled maltiness and hoppiness, alcohol showing and heating slowly, strong spice and strong dough, very strong pine. Medium citrus is fresh and manages to liven things up a bit, caramel is burnished. Full at body, perfume Centennial-type finish. Standard bold IIPA of the last decade, this oneís clean, though.

Upon further reflection, maltiness is another notch above average, some complexity and lingering sticky lips. [2014.09.09: 3.7]

Location: Growler from Melville Superstar Beverage, 8/18/14

Aroma: The aroma is really nice, big citrus and pine hops, fresh and enjoyable
Appearance: It pours a murky orange color with a small beige head and some fairly heavy lace
Flavor: The flavor is not quite as nice, the hops donít live up to the nose, and it has a boozy finish
Palate: The body is fairly full, it is a little sticky, and it has an overly hot, fairly dry finish
Overall Impression: I thought this one was good overall, but the nose is definitely the standout component. Still, this is a nice beer, I just wish the rest of the beer could have lived up to the aroma.
