COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
This exciting quad-lager experiment spent a month hibernating in Jack Daniel’s Tennessee Whiskey barrels before making its way across the bridge from Brooklyn to Manhattan, and Get Real NY. Expect layers and layers of malt complexity.

Pouring at Get Real NY. Pours a hazed ruby color with a thin white head. Soft caramel, sweet. Sweet cherry and malt with touches of vanilla and chewy malt. Sweet toffee, more chewy malt on the finish.

On tap at pony bar UES. A little sweet for me, but the barrel adds complexity and it has a nice sourness to it. Definitely interesting and worth trying once. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

Tap @ BT w Erica. Dark brown pour into snifter w a dark red hue. Aroma and flavor of dark chocolate covered cherries. Slight to moderate tartness on the palate but I would not call it sour. A tad yeasty. Clean finish. The word "composed" came to mind.

Cask at Get Real NY - Sweet cherry fruits. Hint of sour, dark fruits and whiskey notes. Caramel malts and earthen oak& wood and molasses. A bit cloying.

Cask at Get Real New York 2011. The aroma is lightly sweet and a bit tart as well. A bit of fruit and some heavy oakiness. Sort of chardonnay-like/ butter/butterscotch character. Comes across with a bit of rancid tartness as well. The ABV is well hidden, but it’s just not very good.

Cask at Get Real NY. Clear brown, nice woody, whiskey aroma with some dark fruit, earth, and caramel. Taste is fairly sweet, a bit on the cloying side, some more dark fruit and malt on the palate. Very complex and interesting.

Draft at Get Real NY Cask Ale Event with Linh, Streets, Andrew, and Brendan. Pours a dark hazy red body with no head, no lacing. Aroma is light and sweet. Mouthfeel is thin and smooth - probably due to the cask conditioning. Flavors of sweet whiskey, caramel, toffee and sour cherry.
