2.6 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 10/20 Glouglouburp (4784) - Montreal, Quebec, CANADA - NOV 20, 2009
In short: A thin and citric/sharp forgettable pale ale
How: Tap at Puck Fair, NYC
The look: Clear golden body topped by a long-lasting small beige head
In long: The moderately hoppy nose shows citric and leafy hops. Body is thin (almost watery) and the carbonation is too aggressive for such a frail body. A tiny bit of honey, orange notes, sharp and citric bitterness, some kind of mouth drying mineral/salty character (almost metallic). The name is what my evil mind tells me when my girlfriend has her period.
