500ml bottle from Beers of Europe. Pours clear amber gold with a thin white head. Aromas of butter biscuit, honeycomb, faint lemon. Taste is malt loaf, mixed peel, cake mix, buttery. Buttery finish too. Not great.

500 mL bottle. Golden-copper in colour, with a thick film of white head. Mild, malty aroma with a hint of herbal hops. The flavour is a little more grassy, with the hops leaning a little more toward lemon-lime citrus. Decent body for the abv - the Brits know how to do this better than us. Nice, sessionable beer.

Draught (Elm Tree, Cambridge)
Bland malty aroma. I guess. Dark straw. Brief loose head. Tastes of the same level of nothing as the aroma. Finish matches that non-event perfectly. Golden ale for someone who doesn’t want to taste his beer.

Crystal clear, pale gold, clean, dry and fairly bitter. No great aroma or taste, thin-bodied, some citrus but fairly forgetful. Not many late hops were sacrificed making this one.

500ml brown bottle, filtered, from Asda. 4% abv. A light and refreshing beer. Biscuit malt with a touch of sweetness. Fruity, girly hops. A very pleasant drink. Easy drinking. Nice.

Bottle from ASDA. Golden in colour, with a thin, white, head. Sweet, maize and peardrop aroma, with a touch of tired hop. Malty and lager like in flavour with not much of a finish. Not so good.

Bottled, 500ml from The Co-Op, Minehead, Somerset. Cleasr gold with white head. Light, sweetish, slightly fruity beer but with a pleasant tropical fruit hop hint. Thin on the palate and a hit metallic but otherwise easy drinking and fair.
