500 ml bottle, kindly shared by gunnar. ABV is 5.1%. Amber to copper colour, moderate white head. Moderate aroma of fruity and dusty hops, a hint of caramel. Refreshing and pleasant flavour, hints of toffee, nuts and berries, nicely balanced between the malts and hops. Nothing exceptional, but drinks well.

Bottle; dark amber, no head; pleasing robust aroma of baked fruit; caramel and crystal malt gives it a sweet character; slightly spicy; mouthfeel is not smooth; finish has a fruity tang and is bittersweet and a little dry; ok, nothing more.

Cask at Chapel Beer Festival. Slightly hazy gold beer. Smells a little sulphurous. Light crisp palate. Some sulphur but it’s overwhelmed by sherbetty lemon and pineapple fruits. Finishes crisp and dry. Good - could have been great without the bad eggs!
