A Sim rate (ZBF): Vanilla and sweet perfume in the aroma with a bit of fresh cut grass, very fresh. Leafy, flowery flavour but nice and summery fresh. Sounds like a washing powder advert but the beer is really good. Contender for my beer of the festival.

Golden coloured with light carbonation and a large white head. Some sweet fruity aroma with some little alcoholic yeasty hints. Full body. Finish is light bitter, alcoholic and sweet. A nice abbey tripel.

Hazy golden with a medium white head. Sweet aroma with spicy yeastiness. Flavours are sweet with a lingering dryness and warming alcohol. Full-bodied. A well-made trippel that does not stand out.

Draft. Gold body. Nose is very hoppy, floral and spicy. Yeast notes in the aroma as well. Taste is sweet malts, light candyish notes, spicy hops, flowers, and fruits. Body is medium with a light carbonation feel. Finishes with more spicy notes, sweet malts, and hops.

Draught. Clear golden colour with a big white head. Fruity yeasty aroma with some spicy hints. Sweet fruity flavor with some hints of yeast. Hints of spicyness aswell. Fruity finish with some alcoholburn.

JorisPPattyn (7978) - Antwerpen, BELGIUM - MAR 10, 2006
Draught Very fine, nitrokeg-like head, leaving rings; deep golden beer. Very roasted nose, toast, laurel, juniper berry, like herbs for a venison stew, and my drinking companion earmarked D.M.S. Again some laurel, and, somehow, unmalted grain. Background and retronasal (European) hops. Some restsugars and alcohol. Medium to good attenuation. Alcoholburn. Decent tripel. Pity about the pale malt DMS.

Draught: Golden coloured. Clear. White head. Yeast, sweetness, light fruit and light spice in the nose. Flavour is yeasty, very sweet and fruity. Some distinct banana notes. Is medium bodied. Ends on a light fruity and grapish note.

This beer has a pale body - hue apperance and a coarse white scum collar. I have drunk the beer from the bottle and it had a lot carbonic acid. The initial flavor taste is very sweet fruity.

Orange, spice, and yeast nose. Orangy-gold color, low tight head. Sweet body with candy sugar, peer and white grape. Nice spicy end - peppery. Medium body and a good tripel overall.

Golden orange color with a small fizzy head. Small particles are floating in the brew. Intense cooked oats nose. Apricot, banana and vanilla taste - kind of wierd though. Fizzy carbonation. Ok- but not overly exciting.
