12oz bottle in a snifter. Pours black with a lacy, beige head. Aroma of roasted malts, chocolate, light coffee notes, mint, and dough and a light bitterness. Flavor the same with a nice chocolate, imperial stout up front with a nice minty, chocolatey finish. Smooth texture. A good imperial stout with the mint and chocolate adding to it rather than taking away from it.

Bottle thanks to Joey. Pours a dark brown with thick creamy beige head thats lasts awhile leaving spotty lacing. The aroma is strong dark chocolate and faint mint. Thick mouthfeel with bitter chocolate and lingering mint flavor. Very good.

Tap. The look is black in color, dark, and has a tan head. The smell is minty, chocolate, cookies, alcohol, roast, and raisins. The taste is sweet, artificial, minty, and eh.

Opaque black beer, big pale tan head. Palate is smooth and soft and a little dry. Rich dark malts, touch of roast. Unsweet dark chocolate. Slightly bitter dark malt note. The mint is well judged and provides a counterpoint for the robust malt. Finishes dry with more dark malt roast, bitterness and coffee. Different.

12oz bottle. Whoa, super mint chocolatey. Like a high quality mint chocolate bar. Not sweet, roasty, and tasty. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

Bottle from my secret santa. Thank you joeneugs! Pours pitch black with a dark chocolate brown head that is prettyy quick to dissipate while leaving a small trace on the glass. Smell is slightly sweet and malty with heavily roasted malts, after eight (mint chocolate), dark roast coffee, caramel, cocoa powder, bitter chocolate, peppermint oil, liquorice fudge, charred wood and dark chocolate brownies. Taste is sweet, heavy bitter and malty with heavily roasted malts, high quality dark chocolate, after dinner mints, moist soil, charred wood, liquorice fudge, caramel, burnt cookies, bitter chocolate, dark roast coffee, resin, alcohol and cocoa powder. Mouthfeel is slightly round, slightly bitter astringent, tiny boozy and medium to full bodied. Finish is bitter and malty with roasted malts, dark roast coffee, bitter chocolate, after eight (mint chocolate), charred wood, caramel, toffee, dark chocolate brownies, chocolate chip cookies, resin, fudge and subtle hints of citrus zest. Nice but a bit over the top with the heavy bitter roast.

12oz bottle .. age seems to have calmed this down nicely .. . pours a deep brown .. mild foam, lacing spots were good .. . mild mint, tar, and deepened grains .. . light mouth, slick finish .. . . Is it called NASCAR because that’s the way a hillbilly pronounces "nice car?"

On tap at Aces and Ales Stone Domination. Chocolate and mint are the toast of this big stout. Mint is an excellent finish for the palate and a great combination for the stout.

Thanks to Hunter or Glenn for the share at Berliner Bash, poured a blaxk color with aromas of light earth, chocolate and mint. Flavors were mint and chocolate, sort of a light version of a thin mint not ocerly minty or overly chocolaty, a solid beer. Thanks for sharing this one.
