Wow the aroma is just as the name says. It smells like liquid dessert. I could smell this brew all day long. The taste is nice and roasty malty bitter. Sits black in the glass with a deep brown head and brown lacing down the glass. I cant get enough of this.

36cl, new exclusive American collab. brew Anno 2012, with cocoa and mint, thx to Secret Santa!, very complex Stout, roasted/sweet and slightly spicy/malty, not too heavy, balanced, hazy, good head, very good and original brew, yet expensive!

Bottle. Dark pour, minty chocolate aroma and flavor. Liquid Andes Mint chocolate candy. Medium to fuller mouthfeel. Herbal mintiness, choclatety flavor. Unique and pretty good

10/29/12 notes: bottle. Aroma of spearment, peppermint patty, dusty dark chocolate. Mouthfeel is slick, lightly carbonated with medium heft. Average length finish. Flavor is big upfront minty spiciness, rounded with slightly smoky, baker’s chocolate. Bit of graininess near finish, mint recedes slightly and more dark barley assumes its place. Hmmm, I can’t seem to get past how jarring the flavors are. Well-brewed from a technical standpoint, less successful, in my opinion, from an “enjoyability” one.

12oz bottle from "Lifesource" Salem. $3.49 Pours elegant black with a small yet resilient bubbly tan coloured head. Minty, roasty, coffee aromas..nice. Typical roasty, deep dark coffee Imperial but with a fresh mont leaf taste running through it..always there..weaker at the start and stronger at the end..were also the chocolate ( milk) tatse comes to the fore..like a good quality chocolate chip and mint ice cream! Luxurious palate creamy chocolaty minty smooth Great dessert beer

Draft 4oz taster. Aroma is mint and bittersweet chocolate, like a (cold) mint hot chocolate. Nearly black color with foamy tan head. Chalkiness on the palate immediately. Borderline harsh mint, bitterness, with chocolate in the finish. Big chocolate finish with lasting bitterness. Not nearly as sweet as the nose suggested. Full body, light carbonation, texture which is both oily and unpleasantly chalky. Overall: 4oz pour was just right -- a perfectly fine beer, but with a lot of richness that comes together in a way that I just don’t know what place it holds for me.

Pretty nice beer here. Aroma is mint, chocolate, dark fruits, light esspresso. Taste is medium sweet with great flavor but a bit too much hop bitterness on the end. This drinks like a sweet stout until the bitterness hits you. Still i really like this one.

UPDATED: DEC 29, 2013 Bottle from Buckeye Beer Engine. Awesome beer! Extremely dark thick pour with a nice big brown head. Smells just like an Andies mint - chocolate and mint. Smooth fairly dense palate. Taste is cocoa powder/chocolate, sweet but not cloying. Excellent brew.

12 oz. bottle as a local trade bonus- thanks again, Kevin! Pours a midnight, opaque dark brown color with a small dark tan head that dissipates pretty quickly into a tiny ring. The aroma has rich dark chocolate and spicy mint that almost comes across like cinnamon because of the combination of deep roastiness and herbal spiciness. Flavor of dark chocolate, mint, roasted malts, molasses, faint cream, and cocoa beans. Medium-full bodied, with a rich, bitter mouthfeel and moderate carbonation. Very nice.

Bottle from Asahiya. When I poured it I thought to myself what a great looking beer. The mint was quite mild, mostly coming through in the aroma a bit and also a subtle bite in the aftertaste. It has a nice cocoa chocolate flavor, a roast malt goodness. I like it! It is nice to sip for dessert... I think I might try & pick up another to age it. As the beer warmed up the mint flavor started to come through more & became more pronounced. An interesting beer.
