3.5 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 13/20Pour is viscous and black, with a substantial dark tan lace - nose is all bittersweet dark chocolate and fresh mint leaves, along with a light bit of earthy char/roast - low carbonation - slick mouthfeel - flavor is intensely bitter and charred up front - far too much so - thankfully the dark chocolate and mint from the nose arrive later, but not until the bitterness has assaulted the palate - thankfully, the chocolate and mint are all that are present in the finish, so it ends on a strong note - decent, but the one unpleasant bit.

Deep black with a thin fading beige head. Nose of semi sweet dark chocolate and a light mintiness with a bit of cocoa biscuit. Flavor was deep and overly sweet. Nice biscuity cocoa tones with a light and very-not overpowering mint tone. Like a Girl Scout cookie but slightly less minty.
