Growler from Kenai River. Hazy amber with a creamy beige head. Aroma of grapefruit, spicy rye, caramel and faint alcohol. Flavor is resinous bitter hops, caramel malt, spicy rye and a very light alcohol heat. Medium body with average carbonation and a slightly syrupy mouth feel. Great beer, super fresh and hoppy with a nice spicy zest and fuller mouth feel from the rye. Was told that it’s 10% abv but it’s really hard to believe that, drinks more like a 7-8% beer.
