3.1 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 11/20
On tap at Alaskan Bar n’ Hotel.
Into a pint glass.
The appearance was a semi - hazy golden yellow to orange color with a bar pour’s kind of slim white head that maintained a decent filmy lacing as it sunk into the beer itself.
The smell was actually fairly malty and clean, slight crisp English and "soapy" to non - English understanding beer drinkers.
The taste was sweetly malted to an extent and carried a light bready aftertaste that led to a refreshing sort of standard somewhat watery finish.
On the palate, this one sat about a light on the body with a pretty good sessionability about it. I would say that this has a slightly smooth quality rolling over my tongue.
Overall, good English IPA that I could do again.

3.5 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 14/20
Growler. Hazy golden amber with a dense, beige head. Aroma of herbal tea, melon, biscuit and light lemon. Flavor is balanced with bitter hops and slightly sweet biscuity malt, clean yeast profile. Medium body with average carbonation. First beer I’ve had with Pilgrim hops, very strong English hop character from the hops made this taste more like an ESB.
