MartinT (4241), Montreal, Quebec, Canada Dec 30, 2005 On tap at the brewpub: Fruity and grainy with low carbonation...Peaches and mango distracted by the watery passages...Not too bland for an ordinary pale lager, but still not far enough from tasteless macro land... lagermonkey (597), Marietta, Georgia, USA May 10, 2005 Pours a clear reddish copper with an off-white head that quickly dissipates. Some fruity aromas and some lightly bitter floral hop aromas as well.
Taste is lightly sweet and malty. Nice body for an amber lager. Malt gives way to some mellow underlying hops and lingers nicely on the tongue. Lightly fruity and nutty undertones. Tasty. A nice medium bodied lager and very smooth. Not sure I would have this as my winter seasonal but a pretty good lager on its own.
Vac (2220), San Diego, California, USA Nov 21, 2002 Gold body topped with a thick foamy soap like head. very slight malt aroma, barely detectable. Malty flavor with a hoppy background, fairly well balanced. Medium bodied and dry.
