12 Oz bottle in a English Pint. Poured black, as it should, with a One Finger head that quickly disintegrated. Very smooth texture, and tastes of Chocolate, coffee and perhaps Wood? No lacing to be had, but still a fulfilling brew. If I need a porter on the cheap, this is definitely a good choice :D

Opaque brown with a cm of off-white head. Aroma is nutty with mild chocolate roast. Taste is thin and coffee like, with a lemony edge. $2/12oz

Dark brown pour with a thin off white head. Aroma is faintly of coffee and earth. Flavor is of coffee, bitter chocolate malt, and bitter, dry hops...it seems to be overly hopped for a porter. This beer is lacking any distinguishing features to make it something you would get again. It’s got a light body, thin texture, lively carbonated, with a bitter finish. It is thirst quenching, it’s the equivalent of a light porter with lots of coffee flavor.

Deep red brown with a thick tan head. Caramel malts, slight earthiness, crackers are the more noticeable characteristics in the soft aroma. Flavor is lightly sweet. Body is light and bubbly.

Ughsmash (6668) - Waukesha, Wisconsin, USA - APR 7, 2013
Bottled. Poured light-medium brown with a nice khaki head. The aroma picked up sweet molasses accented by a pinch of honey and vanilla.. just a touch of smoky roast to it. The flavor found sweet molasses and vanilla at the core, with tacky, earthy bitterness around and burnt coffee roast on the finish.. a bit watery on the finish. Lighter-bodied and very dry on the palate.. just an OK feel and flow.

DocJitsu (305) - California, USA - MAR 30, 2013
Pours a dark brown with a short root beer head. Head retention is poor. Bouquet is milk chocolate liqueur with coffee notes. Mouthfeel is a little thin and adversely impacted by the carbonation. Pleasant chocolate, but not a lot else going on. Finishes with coffee acidity. Worth the money, but just an ok porter.

Showed up to inlaws to find surprise six pack. Pours standard deep brown thin head. Nose of chocolate and soda. Tastes of rootbeer, coffee, chocolate, earth, and licorice. Kinda watery but much appreciated

May 19th, 2012 - Kennebunkport is the new guest making the rounds around San Diego’s liquor stores. Their beers are wrapped in comparatively unassuming labels, so they’re not always easy to spot, but a fresh and untried porter sparkles when a long-time beer drinker is looking for a fresh experience. The vapor suggests that this will be a very fresh experience, hinting at deep, rich, freshly ground coffee aromas, some dark black tea scents (English Breakfast or a heavy Yunnan earthiness) and a dash of cumin, reminding me of last night’s simmering chili. The flavor loses a lot of these subtler, gourmet notes, sacrificing coffee and yielding harsh flakes of charcoal, an awkward grape flavor and a foaminess on the palate that only exaggerates the galumphing progress of the taste. There’s an abundance of chocolate malts flavor, but it’s charred and burnt. The porter is not my favorite, but I have yet to see what else Kennebunkport offers - optimism reigns.

Charcoal nose with sweet raisin and fudge accents, cola as well. Cola colored, medium yellow head. Dry, and fizzy. Swirling tree bark and grassy hop flavor. Potting soil finish. Overcarbonated, but that is easily remedied by aggressively pouring into an oversized mug.
