COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
Named after Kensington Market’s (in)famous fishmongers on Baldwin Street, FishEYE is a bold and assertive India Pale Ale. We use 4 different varieties of American hops and a heavy dose of caramel malt to create a pleasantly balanced hop-forward IPA. FishEYE-PA pairs well with a burger, spicy Indian food and sharp, strong cheese.

Lots of grapefruit here. A nicely crafted IPA with a reddish hue and a nice long finish. Slightly bitter and overall very satisfying. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

Couleur orangés foncés avec un beau col blanc. Nez de céréales floral et un peu fruité. En bouche houblons floral avec un peu d’agrumes. Une I.P.A dans la moyenne mais intéressante.

Aroma is fairly subdued but has some citrus in it. Taste has some grapefruit rind on the back end, toasty malt. Head is nothing special with low retention. Overall tastes good but nothing to write home about.

473ml can. Pours a translucent caramel colour with a one finger, off-white head that thins to a thick film and coats the inside of the glass with lacing. Mild carbonation rising to the surface. Aroma is pleasant with large bread notes and a touch of tropical fruit accompanied by citrus. Taste is bitter with a hoppy/bready aftertaste. Also getting hints of bubblegum as well. Weird. Medium body with a low-medium carbonation. Pretty clean mouth feel without being too watery. Overall good but not great. Looks great in the glass and smells good enough but the taste could be a bit more refined and balanced. Would probably buy again to mix it up but wouldn’t be a main stay in the fridge.

This IPA poured a cloudy amber colour with a nice, rocky, off white head. Scents include hops, spruce and hay. First sip was very hoppy. With flavours of citrus/spruce most predominant. Finish is quite bitter with the flavours of spruce lingering.

Can - 473ml. Amber body with an average, lasting off-white frothy head. Good hoppy aroma with malty, grapefruit, and some subtle woody hints. Its sharp hoppy taste carries woody and grainy notes. Ends with a robust bitter finish. Enjoyable.
