COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
Named after Kensington Market’s (in)famous fishmongers on Baldwin Street, FishEYE is a bold and assertive India Pale Ale. We use 4 different varieties of American hops and a heavy dose of caramel malt to create a pleasantly balanced hop-forward IPA. FishEYE-PA pairs well with a burger, spicy Indian food and sharp, strong cheese.

On tap at c'est what in toronto. Copper colour. Not as bitter as I would have liked and a bit of a Tom aftertaste. Drinkable. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

Orange-amber, fairly clear, white head. Smells like peppery hops, citrus and pine with sweet bready malt. Sweet malts on the taste, balanced bitterness. More of a malty IPA, less hops than expected, but still a good beer.

Cloudy dark amber. Thin head. Aroma is a little bit of indistinct fruity hop. Taste is a balance between slightly orangey hop, leafy hops, and a rich maltiness that is fairly pronounced in its toastiness.

BIg can. Looks amber. Aroma of floral and lightly piney hops plus a good amount of caramel malts and some light dough. Flavor the same with a decent amount of hops. Average texture. A decent IPA, but could be hoppier and a little less malt presence.

Can: Poured a clear copper color ale with a rather large foamy head with average retention and some light lacing. Aroma consists of dry caramel malt with light bitter hoppy notes. Taste is also dominated by some dry caramel malt with some hoppy bitter notes that are not as powerful as I would have expected. Body is light with good carbonation. Too much dry caramel malts for its own good with hops that fell way short considering the style.

Lots of grapefruit here. A nicely crafted IPA with a reddish hue and a nice long finish. Slightly bitter and overall very satisfying. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

Couleur orangés foncés avec un beau col blanc. Nez de céréales floral et un peu fruité. En bouche houblons floral avec un peu d’agrumes. Une I.P.A dans la moyenne mais intéressante.

Aroma is fairly subdued but has some citrus in it. Taste has some grapefruit rind on the back end, toasty malt. Head is nothing special with low retention. Overall tastes good but nothing to write home about.
