Pale golden pour with a thin white head. The aroma is a bit malty with some light sweetness and a bit of odd esters in the aroma. The watermelon is quite expressive and a little bit fruity. As it warms the yeast derived fusels come out more and distract from the watermelon fruit. This really intensifies as does a sort of dull sweetness. A good idea as a summer quaffer but could have the fermentation cleaned up.

On tap at Imbibe. Yet another pointless Ontario fruit beer based on a wheat ale. This one has an okay watermelon nose and not a fuck of a lot else going for it. Flavour is incredibly subdued, with a mildly unpleasant rough dryness in the finish from the wheat. Tasted artificial at first but maybe that was the lingering Neustadt Saur-Kraut lager on my palate. Kind of a colossal waste of time for absolutely everyone.

2013/05/11 - Pours a clear, pale straw color with a thin white head. Aroma is wheat, watermelon, slight hay and metal. Taste is a sharp, sweet watermelon candy up front with a wheat and metallic aftertaste. Mouthfeel is thin with refreshing carbonation and a drying finish. Lacks balance. Interesting idea with a poor execution. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

Kensington Watermelon Wheat Yeah smells like beer and watermelon. Very different. Tastes like you would except. A slightly citrusy wheat with watermelon. I either really dig It or donít like it at all and I canít decide. Itís very different. Unlike say a pumpkin ale which when I tried one for the first time I fell in love, I do,my hate that love at first sip going on here. Itís growing on me though.

Appearance clear golden in look. Lighter minimalistic cap.2+
Flavor and Palate : Strong watermelon fruity notes. Easy going summer like feel. Soft bubble gum hints. Grainy, zesty finish.

surprisingly clear for a wheat beer. hard to pick up watermelon in the initial aroma, the only surge of scent and flavour comes when taking a drink. expected stronger flavours and aromas; it sadly quite plain. -- "another notch in the bar post."

June 23, 2012 - draught at "Session 99" - session #2. Pale and hazy gold-yellow with thick plug of tightly foamy white head (4-). Aroma is simple - a little "uric" - lightly acidic, it has light melon character and some suggestion of funk - at least itís not sweet (7-). Up-front you are hit with terrific fresh watermelon, only a hint of lemon, perhaps a tiny bit sweeter than the aroma and just a whisper of floral bitterness - but the problem is all that fades extremely fast and you are left with ... not much. Light bodied, frothily carbonated, quick-finishing, leaves a little bit of a dry bile-sourness .... needs more malt oomph and I could wish for more sourness, too.

On tap at the Brewers Backyard. Pours a hazy burnt golden colour with modest-sized white head. Aroma is watermelon, floral and honey. Flavour is likewise. Lightish, slightly watery body. Easy drinking and refreshing.

Sample at brewers backyard. Hazy straw pour. Sweet aroma of melon, vanilla, slight yeast and green apple. Light and refreshing. Clean finish. On a hot day, this stuff was the bomb. Nice unique offering.

On tap at the Brewerís Backyard event. Nothing in the smell, but a syrupy infused sweet flavouring joined in the wheat. Not too drinkable.
