Cask Half Pint at Euston Tap, London in Sept 2012 - Ruby/Mid Brown in colour. Very Malty; very nutty, roasty malts, light toffee. Fruity; hints of dried fruits. Hoppy; leafy hops. Sweetish nutty malty fruity throughout. Quite dry. Very drinkable.

Cask at the Watford Beer Festival 2013. Poured a lightly hazy, bright ruby with a halo of off white head. Aroma of caramel, straw and malt. Biscuity malt flavours with notes of raisins and pine needles. Finish was dry grain, nutty malts and brown sugar.

Cask gravity at the Watford beer fest 2013. Ruby red colour pour with a small halo of off white head. Aroma is nice red berry, cranberry nutty malt. Flavour is nutty, caramel malt, light berry, mineral. Very tasty.

Cask at Craft, Islington, London. A dark brown/ruby coloured pour with a small beige head on top. Fruity, malty aroma. Tastes fruity, malty, nutty. It’s fine but rather straightforward.

Clear dark red brown colour with a average to large, frothy, good lacing, mostly lasting, off-white to light beige head. Aroma is moderate malty, roasted, nutty. Flavor is moderate sweet and light to moderate bitter with a average to long duration, roasted, chocolate. Body is medium, texture is oily, carbonation is soft to flat. [20120503]

Aroma: Roast malt, wood and chocolate.

Appearance: Hazy ruby/mahogany body with a thick cream head that holds well. No visible carbonation. Excellent lacing.

Taste: Bitter coffee, chocolate and sharp red fruit flavours. Really well balanced and drinkable.

Palate: Medium body with an oily texture. Soft carbonation.

Overall: Excellent balance between fruity hop flavours and rich, roasted malt.

Cask@Reading Beer Festival 2012. Deep ambery brown colour, small beigeish head. Aroma is nutty, wooden, mildly floral as well. Flavour is wood, floral notes, some fruits, caramel and mild toffeeish notes. Quite mellow and pleasant.
