Cask @ george and dragon, swanscombe. The only Kent Brewery beer I hasn't tried. I really like this beer, no idea how to classify it! Warming chocalatey notes, nice hop presence. Really good beer

Cask conditioned handpump Old Fountain London. A dark, dark brown coloured beer with a good whitish head. A very dry and nutty aroma. Totally dry and husky in the mouth. Says highly hopped on the pumpclip but they don’t really come through, however after five pale hoppy beers in a row I needed something different and the sweetish fruitiness mixed with the dry nuttiness was perfect.

August 10, 2011 - cask at Craft Beer Co. Slightly amber gold with a lasting creamy-foamy off-white head. Smells great - resin, citrus, heavy spruce funk, lightly leafy with solid background juicy tropical fruit malt body (8+). Taste is catty - follows the nose, but more acidic, the malt takes a back seat - and hardly any alcohol character (I like!). Average body, decent carbonation, surprisingly quick-finishing and much less acidic than I expected - but massively sessionable and very, very good.

Cask-conditioned at the Cask Pub and Kitchen 19/08/2011. Dark chestnut colour with next to no head. Sweet, nuts and berry fruit aroma. Full bodied mouth feel, with caramel sweetness, chewy nuts followed by a savoury edge and moderately bitter finish. Fine.
3.5 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 15/20 Leighton (6963) - London, ENGLAND - JUN 6, 2011
Cask at CPK. Pours dark, ruby-brown with a foamy, off-white head. Aroma holds nuts and subtle, roasted malts. Flavor has a good bit of herbal, leafy hops, a distinct nuttiness and light sweetness. Medium bodied with fine carbonation. Some hops in the finish, good toast and more nuts. Decent brew.
