COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
Kentucky Ale is a marriage between two classic beer styles, Irish Red Ale and English Pale Ale. The Kentucky Ale mashing program uses: • the finest 2-row imported Harrington malt, • select caramel malt varieties grown both domestically and abroad, • a pinch of wheat malt for a smooth, creamy taste. Varieties of the English hops East Kent Goldings and Fuggles impart a spicy yet soft, floral aroma without a harsh, bitter aftertaste. These ale hops are used to balance the sweetness of the malt and are an important flavor component of Kentucky Ale. Light copper in color, the unique body and character of Kentucky Ale is heavily influenced by the water, drawn from aquifers in the limestone underlying the Bluegrass Region of Kentucky.

Tallahassee, Fl - ABC Fine Wine & Spirits - Betton - 12 oz bottle. Pours a sparkling medium golden with a tight white head, little to no lacing. Pretty much a neutral aroma with some brief nutty accents. Flavor is pleasant but somewhat bland. some caramel notes shine through, a brief hint of citrus, some nuttiness. Mouthfeel is thick enough. Nothing offensive, just not a flavorfest.

Sweet malt, mild burnt, ESB like, and citrus aroma. Copper with off white head and mild lacing. Full bodied, citrus, and flavor notes like aroma. Ok balance, lite-medium bitterness. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

12oz bottle. No datestamp found. Clear orange - amber color. Decent thin white head. Little loose lace. Soft carbonation. Medium body. Aroma is kind of just watery spicy hops and malts, little skunked out. Mostly wet bread malt. Very uninteresting. Light bitter taste, some bite to it, more sweetness. Forgettable, or thoroughly mediocre

Bottled. A hazy amber beer with an off-white head. The aroma has notes of straw and malt. THe flavor is sweet with notes of malt, caramel, and straw, leading to a dry finish.

Bottle 35,5 cl. Courtesy of madmitch76. Pours a hazy golden with a small off-white aroma. Odd licorice aroma. Medium body, heavy carbonation, again this slight licorice note, a whiff of metal - and nothing much else really. 301112

Bottle. Pours a mostly clear amber color with a moderate, but quickly disappearing head. Nose is a little fruity to me, which I found surprising. It tastes a little too sweet to me.

Bottle from Half Time. Pours light amber with a creamy off-white head. Aroma is bready with suggestions of brown sugar and floral hop. Med body. Flavor is almost treacle, but maybe toffee works better. Definitely some bitterness attempting to corral the malt. Finishes lightly on the sweet side. There is something that makes me think of oak. Perhaps underrated, tho not seriously so.

Draft. Clear light amber with an off white head. Faint aroma of caramel, grain and light herbal tea. Flavor is malty mostly with a faint hop bitterness. Medium to light body with average carbonation. No real flaws, just a bit boring.
