Thanks to footballguy TD32 for this local brew of his...
The pour is a medium/dark amber that forms a decent head, but it fades quickly. Smell is pretty average, nothing to make me saw, "WHAT THE ####!". Taste is decent, light malts mostly. The rest of the brew is slightly above average. I wouldn’t seek it out, but a wouldn’t turn it down for cheap.
frankenkitty (1900), Oak Lawn, Illinois, USA Feb 8, 2007 Pours a light-hazed, pale amber with a short-lived head. Doughy, lemony yeasts give way to some sweeter citrus aromas. The same scene is played out in the flavor with some bready sourdough leading into a fruity, mildly bitter finish of hopcit. Crisp. Not bad.

hammerbeck (101), Kentucky, USA Jan 12, 2007 This very English brown ale is surprisingly drinkable. It presents a nice, but quickly disappearing, head and a mellow brown color. The aroma has faint hints of hoppy floralness. But the real pleasure is drinking it. It has all the good flavor of an Irish red and full-bodied-ness of an English amber. RAYBOY01 (1813), Chicago, Illinois, USA Nov 22, 2006 Golden pour with rocky white head that lingers. This ale has a mildly fruity nose but so mild as to be indistinct. The flavor was a mild caramel maltiness and some VERY mild hoppiness, mainly floral in nature. Middle of the road in every aspect. I would not seek these out again. thedm (3833), Fort Wayne, Indiana, USA Nov 18, 2006 This bottled brew from a bottle shop poured a small sized head of foamy finely sized off-white colored bubbles that were mostly lasting and left behind a transparent typically carbonated copper brown colored body and a fair lacing. The mild aroma was malty and dough. The mouth feel was tingly at the start and at the finish. The flavor contained notes of malt mild hops dough and mild caramel. An OK brew just nothing special. JoeMcPhee (4893), Jackson Heights, New York, USA Oct 29, 2006 Tap. Deep amber colur with a thin off-white head. Soft malty aroma, light crystal and some toast with a lovely EKG spiciness ove the top. Light berry esters make an appearance as well. Lovely balance of malt and hops. Woody and spicy hop flavour with a touch of minerally character making an appearance as well. Much better than I expected and a nice sessionable ale. The bottled version is nowhere near as good, but on tap it’s a lovely bitter. DrnkMcDermott (1832), Downers Grove, Illinois, USA Oct 25, 2006 12 oz. bottle, from trade at the Flossmoor RateBeer event. Geez., I think this is only my second new state this year, grumble, grumble. Well, to the beer: Nice looking pour, a burnished brass under a disappearing head, but a touch light for its style, settles out with very few bubbles. Nice ale smell, but with a touch of camphor. Taste is noce malts, a hint somewhere of cola, and a very slight ale fruitiness. Hops are indisitinct. I did get this in a "white elephant trad," and there’s no date, so it may be aged. Enjoyable, but mostly average. hotstuff (3175), Indiana, USA Oct 17, 2006 Bottle. Poured a small fizzy off-white head that mostly diiminished, sparse lacing, transparent, and an orange hue with a gold tint. Mildly hoppy, caramel, malt, fruity, and sweet and ditto for the flavor. Mouthfeel was tingly. Light-medium body. Nothing real special about this one. Just so-so IMO.
