COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
Award-winning Kentucky Bourbon Barrel Ale® is a unique sipping beer with the distinctive nose of a well-crafted bourbon. Our Kentucky Ale® is aged for up to six weeks in freshly decanted bourbon barrels from some of Kentucky’s finest distilleries. Subtle yet familiar flavors of vanilla and oak are imparted to this special ale as it rests in the charred barrels. Pleasantly smooth and robust, Kentucky Bourbon Barrel Ale may also be served as an aperitif or after-dinner drink. Launched in 2006, it has grown to become the flagship beer of the premier name in barrel-aged beers: Alltech Lexington Brewing and Distilling Company.

Not gonna spend much time reviewing this. In the end it is a below average beer that lacked in all areas from start to finish.

Draft in Nyc. Clear copper orange. Sweet malty muddle aroma. Corn. Sweet, a little orange malt. Creamy body. Muddled, boutbon barrel I suppose. But nothing great on the base

Bottle 0,355L. Hazy, copper orange colour with small, creamy, off-white head. Aroma of bourbon and cask wood, slightly smokey. Taste goes from lighz bitter to moderate bitter with all mentioned in aroma. There is extra warmth at the end as a result of 8,2 ABV.

ENG: 355ml bottle from Liquor Mart in Winnipeg, poured into the tulip. Clean, amber color with small tan head and a bit of lacing - looks really nice but the head could be more thick. Sweet, caramel candy aromas with notes of fresh walnuts. Taste earthy, woody, caramel, nutty, with hints of vanilla, coconut and champagne. There is alcohol taste present quite strongly. Nice, warming bourbon/brandy/cognac feel in aftertaste. Low to medium carbonation and medium body, milky, creamy. Overall interesting, but rather sweet beer.

PL: Butelka 355ml kupiona w Liquor Mart w Winnipeg, przelana do kieliszka. Niskie do średniego nasycenie i średnie odczucie w ustach, mleczne, kremowe. Podsumowując ciekawe, ale raczej słodkie piwo.

Lots of candy, sugar babies, caramel, super sweet, slippery and slick. Some wood aging apparent, but mostly sugary sweet (and delicious)

Interesting beer. Pours a light amber color. Aromas are funky barrel, sweet bourbon and coconut. Flavors follow suit. Decent stuff, but kind of one note.

12 ounce bottle. Bright copper color. Aroma is butterscotch and lightly toasted malt. Flavor is more butterscotch and toasted malt. Though there are notes of vanilla and oak, this is just average at best.
