COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
Kentucky Bourbon Barrel Ale™ With a little creative curiosity, we used spent bourbon casks, fresh from decanting, and filled them with our very own Kentucky Ale. From barrels that once held the finest bourbons of Kentucky, we present Kentucky Bourbon Barrel Ale, a smooth, golden elixir unlike any other. Subtle yet familiar flavors of vanilla and oak are imparted to this special ale as it rests in the charred barrel. We attribute this to what the bourbon maker calls the “angel’s share”. Elegantly smooth and modestly carbonated, Kentucky Bourbon Barrel Ale is a fine sipping ale with the distinctive nose of a well-crafted Kentucky bourbon.

Really nice looking amber pour with an off white head. Nice vanilla, toffee, wood, and bourbon aroma. Taste is like a $3 shot and a beer special with added vegetables and buttery aftertaste. Medium slick palate.

Smells just like balsamic vinegar. Like exactly like balsamic vinegar. Blind taste test Me.... I won’t know the difference. Tomatoes. Acidic. Looks.... How to put this gently.... Lame? Minimal Budweiseresc head dissipates instantly. Color is light... Amber. Tastes like balsamic vinegar. Hints of onion tomato durian. Hint of malt on the finish. Palate is light... Fades decently. Got this because I had heard rumors it was good. And it seems to be everywhere around. But maybe that’s because no one is buying. Nearly un drinkable. Like drinking vinegar.

Poured ino tulip a nice Amber with white head that receded to sides of glass, some lacing. Roma was caramel, oak, sweet. Taste was sweet oak, caramel with a lot of vanillia. Good co2 and a very drinkable smooth body. I didn’t get much bourbon in the nose or mouth. Good for football games because it’s a easy drinker, not bad.
