COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
Kentucky Bourbon Barrel Aleô With a little creative curiosity, we used spent bourbon casks, fresh from decanting, and filled them with our very own Kentucky Ale. From barrels that once held the finest bourbons of Kentucky, we present Kentucky Bourbon Barrel Ale, a smooth, golden elixir unlike any other. Subtle yet familiar flavors of vanilla and oak are imparted to this special ale as it rests in the charred barrel. We attribute this to what the bourbon maker calls the ďangelís shareĒ. Elegantly smooth and modestly carbonated, Kentucky Bourbon Barrel Ale is a fine sipping ale with the distinctive nose of a well-crafted Kentucky bourbon.

At Fork on Lincoln. This was a mess. The flavors compete strangely and hit at all the wrong moments. Bourbon, then wood, then cream soda, then sweet. Serving: Tap

Gold with a white head. Nose is wood, alcohol, light vanilla, and malts. Easy palate, heavy alcohol, chewy malts, dough, and an easy finish.

I thought this was pretty damn good. Pours an oakish amber with a pretty foamy white head. Yeast, malt and whiskey in the aroma. Taste is sweet and warm. Nice ale with some malt and the perfect hint of bourbon. Alcohol percent is very well hidden. Very nice.

I like bourbon-barrel ales in general, and this is no exception. The Kentucky Ale which isnít barrel-aged is quite mainstream and boring. The barrel aging definitely kicks it up a notch, adding strong bourbon flavors, a hint of oaky vanilla, and a filling element to the beer. When it comes to relatively inexpensive craft beers, I like this one well enough. Would I say itís the best bourbon-barrel-aged beer on the market? No.

The smell of bourbon is the first thing that hits you as you pour this ale. Rather thin head. Copper tone. Taste is that of bourbon, with a bit of ale. Rather weak, watered down. Overall, a decent ale, but nothing to write about.

Amber pour, strong floral with oak and whiskey finish aroma. Sweet start with smokey bourbon finish. Plenty of complexity to enjoy sipping. Even has a subtle lingering Bourbon burn

I love this beer. Itís alcohol content is fairly high, and itís a little sweet (itís the whiskey taste) for some people, but itís very smooth, with the oak flavor of the bourbon coming through. Itís also not so carbonated, very smooth. Iíd call it a coffee haterís alternative to Guinness. :) The stout is hoppier, but this is a dessert beer.

Poured a little on the cold side with a small off-white head, no lace and a clear amber color. Aroma is malt Oak and a bit of a funk. Flavor is a bit similar to aRoma, a little sweet, carbonic tang is well matched and Oak comes through nice too. Good body. Nice beer. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

Bottled 355ml. -at Scout Club Samobor. Golden/amber coloured, small off-white head, caramel and bourbon in the nose. Moderate malty, distinct bourbon and caramel with mild notes of alcohol. Interesting and quite likable but in other hand a bit too artificial bourbon presence. And of course a way too expensive...almost 10$!!!

Bottle. Pours clear golden with very little head. A little bourbon in the nose. Taste is vanilla and butter. Not a fan.
