COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
Carefully crafted by Alltechís master brewers, Kentucky Bourbon Barrel Stoutģ builds on the success of its barrel-aged brother, the beloved Kentucky Bourbon Barrel Aleģ. Kentucky Bourbon Barrel Stout is brewed and aged with Alltechģ Cafť Citadelle Haitian coffee and aged in world-famous Kentucky bourbon barrels. The result is a complex stout with dark-roasted malts, hints of caramel and vanilla and a lightly roasted coffee finish.

Not a bad try, but still paper thin for a stout. Instead of the melding together, the vanilla and bourbon flavors lead out of nowhere and are a tad incongruous with the beer. Mellow. Nice. Not great though.

Tap. Amber pour with a big white head. Vanilla, American oak, caramel. Very oaky. Medium to light body. Too much oak for the body

Opaque black with a thin, light beige head. Aroma of chocolate and a little coffee. Flavor is sweet at first, with a coffee finish. Not bad.

One of the dankest stout not Stone. Aroma is non-indicative as the deep coffee aspect overwhelms other facets. As such, it does linger well after the last sip. Otherwise its drinkability resembles a dark ale meets light IPA. At 8 who can complain... Coffee loverís delight.

355 ml bottle. Pours a ruby reddish black with a short lived beige head. Aroma is roasted, woody. Flavor is woody, bourbon, sweet. Finish is wood, roasted malt and fruits. Light body, weak carbonation. Very disappointing.

Pitch black pour with a brown head. Earthy woodsy aroma with vanilla and some prunes. On the palate it is fairly big with cereal mash a tad sweet with some toast and prunes. not bad beer at all.

Pours deep brown with opaque clarity. The delicate head is 2 fingers but dissipates quickly. First note in the aroma is a alcoholic, which is a bit unmasked by the coffee and cereal 2nd notes. Has a dry finish.

Pours a black-brown with a thin khaki head from a bottle. Roasted coffee aroma and flavor notes over bitter chocolate and black malts, I donít get much from the bourbon, except maybe a hint of oaky vanilla.

Bottle from the store. Pours light brown with minimal head. Nose is chocolate with a light bourbon nose. Some vanilla as well. Taste is Gawd Awful sour and tart. Damn infected beer. Iím dumping this.

(Bottle). Deep brown complexion with quickly diminishing head. Malty flavor with slightly bitter coffee and mild bourbon. Overly carbonated for the style. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

Pours mahogany with a thick khaki head that leaves no lacing in the glass. Aroma is coffee, dark chocolate and a pinch of bourbon. I donít really taste much bourbon in this. It has a strong coffee taste with a tiny bit of sweetness on the backend. Iím guessing thatís supposed to be the bourbon, but I donít get it. There are a ton of better bourbon barrel beers out there but as a stout, this is pretty good.
