COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
Kentucky IPA® is a deliciously hoppy, golden-hued American India Pale Ale. It has bright citrus flavors and sweet floral aromas that come from liberal dry-hopping with American hops. The India Pale Ale style is the fastest growing craft beer style on the US market.

Kentucky IPA® is the first canned beer produced by Alltech Lexington Brewing and Distilling Co. and is sold in 4-packs of 16-ounce cans. This format is ideal for sporting events, outdoor concerts, at the beach and other places where glass is not permitted. Kentucky IPA is also available in bottles and on draft.

UPDATED: NOV 25, 2015 12 oz bottle The IPA poured a cloudy light amber with small off white head and no lacing. Citrus greets your pose and maybe some pine resin. The ale had a medium body with soft carbonation. The flavor is dominated by what taste like drinking green pine cones. There is a faint faint metallic touch that is noticed. Finish has a bitterness in the upper mouth. This tasting the IPA poured a clear amber color with small head and lacing. Taste like a commercial big brewer IPA.

Bottle pour. Shiney clear, light amber color. Palate is smooth and thin ith a mild bitter flavor. It has a dry after taste.

bottle @ Party Town / Florence KY --- Clear medium amber color, fluffy 1" white head, a few dots of lace. Taste is light malt that moves to light hops in the finish. An "excuse me" beer, with minimal flavor, not enough to be bad or good.

It’s okay. Not a lot going on sadly. Aroma is missing something I can’t figure out what it is. I got a faint aroma of peach but that was about it. It’s appearance is beautiful but it’s just missing something. Taste is okay. Not too bitter just kind of weird. Has a little bit of peach but again I don’t know why but something is missing here. Not terrible, I would try it again to see. Maybe on draft it would be excellent.

Aroma is incredible for this beer. California hop aroma but taste is mild hop and easy to drink. Thin on tongue. In general a nice malty ipa with great aroma. Thin head. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

Couleur ambrée légère, petite mousse blanche. Nez houblonné fruité, note de savon. Gout leger fruité avec amertume de sapin, assez rapide en bouche et note de savon en fin de bouche.

Pours clear golden with small tan head out off bottle. Bitter aroma of hops with a hint of malt. Bitter dry taste with a lot of hops. Nothing special about this beer but still good. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

This pours a mostly clear, amber color with a slight foamy head. The aroma is mild with hints of bitter hops. Texture is smooth and easy drinking with a strong bitter flavor that is very herbal and dry. While the flavor is there, it is very strong and a little off-putting after awhile. It finishes with a lingering dry, bitter after taste.
