If you like IPA, you need to taste this, its terribly on style. From the start its pungent hops, all the way down. Tastes like way more than 7%. I don’t care for this style because this, like its style, rototills across your taste buds and down the throat. wew. Only thing that makes this almost palatable for me is the slight amount of thankful co2. Ruined my taste buds, cannot taste another beer today.

3.2 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 14/20
16oz can into a pint glass.
Pours a slightly hazy dark gold with a thick one finger white head. Really good head retention and lacing thanks to some serious carbonation. Not bad.
The aroma is very earthy and very dank. Wet leaves, tree bark, garlic, and onions along with weed. A tiny bit of toast from the malt underneath but hops really dominate.
There is a little more fruit in the taste but still a lot of earthy, dank hops. A bit of orange and tangerine and a bit of citric tartness. The malt is caramel and toast but takes a back seat to the hops. Mouthfeel is a bit on the thin side with a strong bitterness and lingering mild sweetness.
Overall, just a very run of the mill IPA. The earth and dank is a nice departure from the typical citrus IPA’s but I can’t say I’m really impressed. I’ll stick to the bourbon barrel ale.

3.2 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 13/20
Clear golden brown topped by a dense white head. Citrus, dust, and earthy hops in the aroma. Light bitterness, some grapefruit and mango flavors followed by a hint of nutty malts. Pretty run of the mill IPA, not bad but nothing to write home about.

Solid beer that I would drink again solely based on the price. Got it for $8 for 4 16 oz. It's a very drinkable beer that leans more APA than IPA to me.

Pint. Can. Meh. Actually, a mildly metallic aroma. A little flat on flavor. Nominally piney. Run of the mill IPA bitterness. Medium bodied. Opaque with a decent off-white head.

3.5 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 13/20
12 oz. bottle poured into a lager glass.
Pours a clear, golden-amber color, with excellent clarity and moderate visible carbonation. The durable foamy head leaves behind a fair amount of lacing.
Aroma: probably the ale’s strong point, with a nice mix of citrus, floral and grassy scents.
Taste: Follows the nose. It finishes slightly dry with mild-moderate grassy and grapefruit bitterness that’s lower than expected given the hop presence earlier on. Overall well-balanced and relatively easy drinking for style, with some similarities to an English IPA.
Mouthfeel: Medium body and carbonation; relatively smooth and soft.
O: a solid example of the style.

3.3 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 14/20
12 fl oz bottle at GBBF 2013. Pours a lightish amber colour. Slightly sweaty aroma with a bit of rubber and caramel sweetness. Medium body. Grapefruit, lemon, orange, does an decent job of balancing sweetness and bitterness, pretty dry. Lingering bitter finish which gets a bit acidic.
