Kentucky IPA™ is a deliciously hoppy, golden-hued American IPA. It has bright citrus flavors and sweet floral aromas which come from liberal dry-hopping with American hops.

Bottle. Orange malt and orange peel aroma. Golden yellow with large white head. Mildly sweet orange malt and moderately bitter orange peel/quinine flavor.

Appearance. Light brown/orange. Small white head. Aroma: good citrus aroma with a little sweetness and malt to it, coriander and lemon peel too. A hint of pine. Flavour: initially malty but with a sudden burst of pine hops, quite a lot of citrus too with a lovely long bitter finish. Simple and good.

Amber, thin off white head, nice lacing. Pine, citrus, bready malt, a little caramel in the aroma. Flavor is malty, with some quite astringent bitter hops. Light enough body, fairly highly carbonated. Finish is malt forward with some bitter grapefruit. Prefer my IPA with more sweetness, fairly middle of the road.

Keg at Against the Grain, Dublin. Murky copper with thin white head. Spruce, caramel, pine resin, and light orange/citrus in aroma. Taste is pine and caramel driven; not much else - bit of spruce and grapefruit. Some woody notes, odd sugary sweetness. Quite sticky as it warms. Medium bitterness - pine resin and sweet caramel linger. Not bad - thank God they didn’t put it in a bourbon barrel.

Bottle. Clear, light amber body. Fizzy, off-white head. Aroma of raw, earthy hops, grapefruit, raw grain. The flavor is moderately sweet and lightly to moderately bitter. It finishes lightly to moderately sweet and moderately bitter. Medium body, watery texture, lively carbonation. Raw hop taste atop caramel flavor. Average stuff.

12oz bottle poured into a pint glass. Pours a dark copper color with a 1-finger white head that leaves a decent amount of lacing. Aroma of pine, citrus, hint of floral. Kind of light on the aroma. Taste is a bit malty up front with cerial, bread, citrus, and a hint of grapefruit and caramel in the background. Bitter finish that lingers for a minute. Palate is medium bodied, slick, oily texture, average carbonation. Very much a middle of the road IPA. Not too hoppy, not too malty, not too light. Worth a try, but nothing to seek out.

burnt orange pour with off white head. Fades quick, but lots of lacing. Aroma is fresh cut grass and citrus rind. taste is sweet and mild bitter. Love having Alltech near by. Descent first try. Please keep working on it.

16 oz can to snifter (shared with the Mrs.). Looks solid; malty though. A transparent dark orange with foamy off-white head that dissipates into sticky lacing. Smells hoppy and a little boozy. Tastes like it smells with some sweetness and an average mouthfeel. Eh.

16oz can, shared. Clear copper orange color. Thin kind of bubbly off-white head, fades to minimal. Just a couple lose bits of lace. Medium-plus body, kind of soft, lighter carbonation. Kind of malty, sweet taste. Drinks more like a pale ale. Bigger caramel malt, some spicy hop. Moderate bitter taste, also moderate sweet. The can looked pretty cool, but the beer ended up being a disappointment

A present from the brewer’s rep at Bonnaroo! Sorry I forgot your name.but you Rock girl! Pours clear gold under a nice white head. Not overly hoppy but a good drinkable beer for those who like "some hops - but not too much". I’m looking forward to seeing this in the market here.
