Hazy amber beer with a tidy off white head. Minerally crisp palate. This malt base. Reasonable hops - orange peel and marmalade and fresh orange. Touch of lagerish paper. Finishes crisp. Much better than expected.

Bottle, 12oz. A clear, dark golden beer with a dense, off-white head. There’s quite a lot of malts and grass on the nose, with pine cones and some lemon peel in between. It’s full bodied and quite sweetish on the palate, with a nice carbonation. Sort of sweet flavor, with a balancing bitterness. Hop pellets, pine cones and some resins too. A faint metallic touch chimes in towards the very end. Sure a drinkable one, but I’m far from impressed. Lacking quite a lot on the hops. 140512

Draft at Cock & Bull Pub. Poured a clear copper color with an average frothy white head that mostly lasted with good lacing. Moderate citrus and earthy malt aroma. Medium body with a smooth texture and soft carbonation. Medium bittersweet flavor with a medium bittersweet finish of moderate duration. My expectations where met.
