COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
Kentucky IPA® is a deliciously hoppy, golden-hued American India Pale Ale. It has bright citrus flavors and sweet floral aromas that come from liberal dry-hopping with American hops. The India Pale Ale style is the fastest growing craft beer style on the US market.

Kentucky IPA® is the first canned beer produced by Alltech Lexington Brewing and Distilling Co. and is sold in 4-packs of 16-ounce cans. This format is ideal for sporting events, outdoor concerts, at the beach and other places where glass is not permitted. Kentucky IPA is also available in bottles and on draft.

The pale amber colored body was very clear, and the pour formed a nicely proportioned, two-finger thick, foamy head. The smell was grapefruit and mandarin oranges, and was very pleasing, but a bit mild. The taste once again showcased the citric hops, with lemony, grapefruity bitterness that was very much to my liking. There was a touch of sweetness and some light herbs in the finish. The body was a little on the light side. I enjoyed this beer.

Bien en bouteille de 33cl. Blonde dorée. Mousse blanche épaisse. Effervescence moyenne. Nez neutre, pointe florale. Amertume peu délicate au palais. Sèche. Peu de corpulence. Finale sèche et amere.

Bottle @ Beer Company, Budapest. Hazy golden with an off-white head. Aroma is sweet, malty, caramel and light hoppy - fruity and old hops. Flavor is medium sweet and moderate bitter. Dry and moderate bitter finish. 100716

Bottle @ Beer Company (Kemenes), Budapest. Nice head with good duration. Color is golden. Aroma and taste are rich malt, caramel, little hops, fruits and has a light bitter finish. I think this beer must have been too old.

Bottle from local Super U at Camping Kost-Ar-Moor. Hazy amber with short lasting offwhite head. Sweet toasted caramel malts. Sweet resin, honey, tea, biscuits, light alcohol and rubber. Medium sweet, under medium bitter. Under medium body, low carbonation. Messy IPA with pretty high ABV for what is offered. Surprised to see American beer in a random french supermarket though!

I do not wax on poetically about beer but I do know the quality of a beer once tasted. This review is not about my tastes but reinforces the numbers, which are arbitrary.

I had this at Global Brew. Pours gold with a white head. Taste citrus, pine and bitter finish. I thought this was good. I would drink this again. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

Bottle - Clear golden colour, small white head, fair retention and lacing. Decent hoppy nose with citrussy and piney hops. Malt base is quite simple, some caramel notes. Nice hop bitterness, grapefruit, spruce, leon zest, tangerine. Light body, moderate carbonation, dry, bitter finish, a bit watery mouthfeel. Good everyday IPA, but nothing special.

Poured from a 12 OZ bottle into a pint glass. The appearance is a clear light golden amber color with a medium sized white head. The aroma is of mild piney hops. The taste is piney hops with some malt, fairly dry palate. A pretty good beer.

Pours a crystal clear classic golden. Fresh hop nose with good balance from the grain. Flavor is vibrant for a fleeting moment. It falls flat pretty quickly. Bitters after the finish.
