The pale amber colored body was very clear, and the pour formed a nicely proportioned, two-finger thick, foamy head. The smell was grapefruit and mandarin oranges, and was very pleasing, but a bit mild. The taste once again showcased the citric hops, with lemony, grapefruity bitterness that was very much to my liking. There was a touch of sweetness and some light herbs in the finish. The body was a little on the light side. I enjoyed this beer.

Bottle from O’Briens, Athlone [181214]
Golden, clear, large off white head
Aroma - Citrus lemon, soft grapefruit, quite fresh hops, light sweet pale malt, light orange
Taste of citrus zest, lemon zest, soft grapefruit, light pale caramel malts, quite soft hopping for US IPA, straightforward, hops are a bit dull
Palate - Medium carb and body, light oily, soft sweet palate, light bitter. Finish of citrus zest, soft sweet malts
Overall - Easy going IPA, OK not wow.

Serving: 12 oz. bottle from Total Wine Sterling. Nice gold pour with a decent off white head. Dull citrus notes in the nose. A little biscuit, malt, and citrus on the palate. Light to medium body. This one needs a bigger boost of hops.

12 oz. bottle from The Party Source. Pours a totally clear gold with a small white head. The aroma brings some hop bitterness - slightly floral and citrusy - but the rest of this has a big sweet corn note, with other sweet malts, grass, and straw. Light-medium bodied, with moderate to medium carbonation and a malty mouthfeel. Not really the kind of IPA I like.

On tap at Beer Station, Xiamen on 14 Nov. Pours hazy golden brown with a thin white head. Aroma of pine. Bitter sweet finish.

Foxbush (1322) - Richmond, Virginia, USA - NOV 11, 2014
12 oz bottle The IPA poured a cloudy light amber with small off white head and no lacing. Citrus greets your pose and maybe some pine resin. The ale had a medium body with soft carbonation. The flavor is dominated by what taste like drinking green pine cones. There is a faint faint metallic touch that is noticed. Finish has a bitterness in the upper mouth.

Bottle pour. Shiney clear, light amber color. Palate is smooth and thin ith a mild bitter flavor. It has a dry after taste.

bottle @ Party Town / Florence KY --- Clear medium amber color, fluffy 1" white head, a few dots of lace. Taste is light malt that moves to light hops in the finish. An "excuse me" beer, with minimal flavor, not enough to be bad or good.

Bad label, clear orange gold. Gelatin malt aroma - some caramel, some citrus. Moderately hoppy, marmalade and toast. Medium body. Crisp carbonation. 12 oz bottle. New Leaf Market.

It’s okay. Not a lot going on sadly. Aroma is missing something I can’t figure out what it is. I got a faint aroma of peach but that was about it. It’s appearance is beautiful but it’s just missing something. Taste is okay. Not too bitter just kind of weird. Has a little bit of peach but again I don’t know why but something is missing here. Not terrible, I would try it again to see. Maybe on draft it would be excellent.
