2.5 AROMA 3/10 APPEARANCE 2/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 12/20
Pours light without much head which lingers a bit. Good aroma for a light beer. Drinkable . Hey, it’s a Kölsch, not a stout. I like it.

2.2 AROMA 3/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 4/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 9/20
Weak grainy aroma. Very little flavor, maybe some straw notes. Watery body. Not a very good execution of the style.

2.7 AROMA 4/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 12/20
Pours very pale with a big fluffy white head that seems to work it’s self into nothing in a hurry.
The aroma is sweet with a bit of minerallity. There are some purfumey, and odd alcohol notes.
The beer is doughy and lightly bitter, it’s got some spiciness, it’s a touch sweet, a little bland but better than what the aroma had me expecting.

Pale straw pour, frothy white head. Lemon citrus on the nose, some malt. Light body and oily. Well balanced but not much to it.

3.8 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 16/20
12 ounce bottle - $1.99 at Total Wine & More in Kennesaw, Georgia.
Appearance: Pours out a light yellow-hued body, good clarity, and a medium-sized, soft white head.
Smell: Meager whiff of maltiness, a little whisper of implied cereal sweetness, and a hint of lemon.
Taste: Very clean, well-attenuated malts, with little sweetness throughout. The hop character and bitterness remains rather low. Faint spritzy lemon hint. Lightly minerally, clean, crisp finish.
Mouthfeel: Medium-light body. Medium-plus carbonation.
Overall: A very decent, quaffable Kolsch.

3.8 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 16/20
This is a nice and true to form Kolsch style beer. I get a citrus flavour with very light spicing. For the style of beer, this is a very good effort. Very refreshing

1.6 AROMA 2/10 APPEARANCE 2/5 TASTE 3/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 7/20
Pale yellow pour with a thin white head. Aroma of bread dough stale corny grain, saltine cracker, and faint fruity esters. Thin slightly slick body with a light, but sharp carbonation and slightly oily, dry finish. The oily/slick feel really doesn’t do much for the beer. Not very good...

3.1 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 12/20
Ginger ale body, nice airy head. Grainy nose, with the essence of freshly milled grains. Body is thinnish, but again characterized by clean grains. No detectable hoppiness. Clean, fresh graininess. One of the more enjoyable Kolsch’s I’ve happened upon.
