COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
A barrel-aged ale brewed with Kentucky-sourced pumpkin, richly spiced with cinnamon, nutmeg and allspice. As the ale is aged in fresh bourbon barrels, the sweetness of caramel and vanilla are imparted upon the brew and complement its spicier base. At 10 percent alcohol by volume (ABV), this robust, limited release seasonal makes for a flavorful sipping beer to slowly warm up with as the weather cools.

Draft at Cock n Bull. Pours a clear golden with a small off white head. The aroma and flavor have sweet malts, pumpkin flavor but not fleshy like some, vanilla, bourbon, light spices, very sweet, light bodied yet I can see the 10%.

This poured a darker orange color with a white head. Aroma was of ppkin spice and booze. Flavor similar, not really any barrel as much as alcohol heat.

12oz Bottle. Typical Amber color. A large nose of cinnamon. I have to be honest this was very rough for me to get down. Just not my cup of tea

12 oz bottle. Glowing golden orange. Lots of pumpkin pie, vanilla, cinnamon. Even has a bit of cool whip cream. Touch of booze that mixed nicely. Very thin. Was really expecting complete crap based on the regular Kentucky bourbon ale but this wasn’t too bad.

As soon as you pour this beer the amazing aroma of pumpkin spices jumps out at you making you mouth water. The clarity of this beer is amazing. Nice thin head and a slight orange tint. An interesting mix with the pumpkin and bourbon. It's almost like the mixture watered the beer down some. You do get an excellent taste of both. The pumpkin up front, a little watery in the middle and which gives the bourbon after taste seems like it's at the end of a good bourbon on the rocks. Not bad, just would of liked a little more bite ate the end.

Bottle. Orange-amber with a short white head. Aroma is pumpkin pie spices (cinnamon and nutmeg, mainly), roasted pumpkin notes and caramel. Taste is big spice notes, soft malt, caramel, roasted pumpkin and light oak. Body is medium with a moderate, bubbly carbonation. Ends with more big spice notes, caramel, oak and roasted pumpkin.

Poured from bottle into shaker. Pours a clear orange with a one finger head that rapidly dissipates leaving a thin skim. Aroma of pumpkin spices, vanilla, and pumpkin. Taste - malt, sweet pumpkin, a bit of spice, warming alcohol, and a bit of hop bitterness. Like this quite a bit and the 10% alcohol is definitely noticeable.

Bottle at home. Pours clear amber with a small, fizzy off-white head, short retention with light lacing. Aroma is alcohol, pumpkin, nutmeg and cinnamon with toast malt and earthy hops. Flavor is sweet pumpkin and toast malt, spices, light hops and bitterness, spicy alcohol and a dry finish. Medium body and light carbonation.

Aroma: Brown sugar, spices, pumpkin...smells like fresh pumpkin pie. Appearance: Clear amber with rich, tan head. Taste: Heavy sweetness with hints of sourness at the edges. Palate: Medium body, slick texture, soft carbonation, long finish. Overall: A bit overdone for my taste, this is a heavy pumpkin pie flavored beer. It's a solid seasonal, but rich. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone
