NikkTwist (1624) - Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, USA - JUN 27, 2014
Bottle at Fado in Philadelphia. Clear pale gold pour that starts with a generous white head that left lots of runny foam. Light toasted grain. Mild citrus and amber fruit. Feels juicy. Finishes dry. Not exceptional but not bad. Thirst quenching.

An unbelievably impressive head is the first thing I noticed on this beer. The head is tall, thick, and rocky. It’s got serious stability and stickiness, leaving tufts of foam all the way to the bottom of the glass. (It’s unfair and probably irrational, I know, but the head was so thick and stable that my first thought was cobalt sulfate.) Other than the appearance, the beer is forgettable. Not much of an aroma….maybe a very faint grassiness. It’s a little watery, but initially somewhat sweet. Crisp, but average finish, and pleasantly drinkable.

VinegarStroke (280) - Napa, California, USA - DEC 30, 2013
Bottle: Pale straw, clear and light white head. Malt and hops. Aromatics are very similar or mass produced European lagers. Slightly stale. Dry, lightly bitter and not sour. Light and short. Some light malt flavors and a hint of hops. Balanced for the style. More like a Munich style. Better than the water in Kenya. If there was nothing else around you’d be happy to drink it.

A lite tasting lager. Mellow, refreshing with a moderate dry finish. Great for a simple taste or with Indian food. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

Golden colour, aroma of sourdough bread. After a decent aroma the taste disappoints. It is smooth and balanced but almost tasteless.
