COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
With all-natural ingredients, the Keoki Sunset’s mahogany color hints at it’s subtle balance of delicious, rich flavors. A slight roasted malt taste and good hop aroma gives this Hawaii beer a bittersweet chocolate complexity and a velvet-like body with a quaffable character.

Ingredients:
Malts: 2-Row Brewers Malt, Carapils, White Wheat, Caramel Vienne, Carmel 120L
Hops: Simcoe, for bittering and Vanguard, for flavor and aroma

Thanks fto my sister-in-law for this bottle. Nice clean beer. Not quite enough hop bit for me but it was present. Little on the bitter sit.

On tap @ Kalapaki Joe’s. medium amber, thin off white head. Caramel with a pleasant stone fruit character and medium bitterness. More like a hoppy amber than an APA, but decent drinking.

Light amber pour with creamy tan head and lace. Aroma is caramel malt and resin. Flavor same as aroma with a nice bitter finish. A tad thin and watery but an ok beer.

Enjoying this refreshing brew at my buddies house. Out if bottle smells of slight hops with a slight metallic after taste. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

The aroma is pretty weak, just a slight coppery and bisquity smell. The body is a light reddish brown and has a decent amount white head. The taste is very malty with a little bitterness towards the end. The body is very effervesent maybe even over carbonated. I wouldn’t really consider this a pale ale more like an amber but either way it is a little bland.

Hazy amber color with creamy head. Some aroma of paper and butter. The mouthfeel is smooth; there is some malt flavor and evident traces of butter. Ordinary bitterness.
A common beer, with some (too much) diacetyl.

Not much aroma. Crisp, clean to start with a dry finish and slightly hoppy. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

Not at all an APA and not all that good at whatever it is. Hints of malt and hops but overall just bland. Sharing one of these was plenty.
