JoeinUccle (608), Brussels, Belgium Apr 20, 2008 This easy and refreshing blonde seems to leave its spiciness to the hops and yeast. Bottle from trade with DerDoppelbock, back at Kerstbierfest I think. Saving it for better weather I guess. Pours a bright gold with thick, sticky white head. Looks pretty. Fruity nose. Lightly sweet flavor rolling into a serious enough bitterness and dry peppery finish, flowing from pinpoint carbonation. Nice.
Jerre (1273), Waregem, Belgium May 17, 2008 On tap @ today Heeren van Liedekercke.
Clear golden color, with a little creamy white head.
Aroma malts, hops, yeast and fruity.
Medium body.
Taste like a tripel; little sweet, good balance, hops, fruits, bitter, spice and malts finish. Great beer.
