mjs (481), Helsinki, Finland May 5, 2008 (Bottle at One Pint on 2008-02-21) Dark golden and cloudy. Fruity nose with some malts. Sweetness and hops in taste. Long lasting taste. Nice bitterness, too.
Palidor19 (1253), Brandon, Florida, USA Aug 5, 2008 very nice, lots of malts not too much hops, lightly herbal, also have some lightly fruity. alcohol is high but its nice. nick76 (2023), Tampa, Florida, USA Aug 5, 2008 The aroma is sweet with yeast, fruit, malt, and basement. The appearance is golden with a large head. The flavor is like the aroma. The palate is thin. Overall it’s OK. JoeinUccle (659), Brussels, Belgium Aug 5, 2008 75cL bottle, not sure how old. Cloudy orange beer with a nice off-white head. Nose is sweet with lots of orange notes and some greenery. Flavor is quite sweet, again orange notes, with a lightly bitter backbone. Not quite enough to keep it in check. Fairly thick but lively mouthfeel. Too sweet for me to drink on its own, but it was nice with some zesty pesto. BoBoChamp (622), Gent, Belgium Jul 23, 2008 75cl, from De Hopduvel Gent, very complex brew, balanced, hazy, small head, very good brew hapjydeuce (558), Carlsbad, California, USA Jun 15, 2008 Bottled, sampled at the Real Ale Festival at Pizza Port Carlsbad on 6/13. One-finger white head and bubbles on top of a hazy amber liquid. Strong green apple and biscuit tones of Belgian yeast. Very sweet banana and pear flavor that is unbalanced against buttery malt undertones. Average body, with no significant bitterness. Nothing to write home about.
