Via trade with Unclerudy. The aroma is roasty, chocolate milk, cream, light licorice. The appearance is deep brown/black, tinge of red, tah head. The flavor is chocolate, roast, coffee beans, vanilla, licorice. Medium in body, a little light for a stout. The finish is roasty, pine needles, lingering sweetness, chocolate, licorice. Nicely done. Thanks, mike.

Pour out of 22 oz bottle, dark black pour with nice thick tan head, aroma has notes of nice chocolate, coffee, hints of roast, espresso, nice dark fruit, molasses, some licorice. Taste is a nice mix of sweet caramel, dark fruits with fig and plum, molasses, hints of sweet milk chocolate, some coffee, slight anise notes, finishing fairly sweet but drying nicely. Pretty tasty!

Bottle: The aroma consists of moderate-heavy cocoa powder and chocolate syrup with the slightest hint of roast. It pours a dark brown with no transparency and a one finger head. The flavor starts with lots of cocoa powder and chocolate syrup. There’s a mild sugary background. The finish has some mild roast with a hint of espresso. It’s medium bodied with a creamy mouthfeel. Overall, the sugary sweetness in the background could be toned down for my tastes.
