“The Name Says it All” Just Outstanding has an orange amber body that combines a zesty and bitter characteristic, a generous malty taste and an exquisite floral aroma – Oh yeah, this beer is really hoppy too! This sturdy ale has 7.5% alcohol and twice the malt and hops of a Pale Ale. If you like a strong IPA, you’ll find this beer

Aroma is dominated by hops - mostly citrus and pine resin but there is a light peach note. The citrus is mostly a grapefruit and line character. Some faint cracker malt notes in the background and hints of light caramel. Pours a fairly clear orange copper with a slightly off-white head that slowly recedes to the edges. Decent lacing with small legs. Flavor stars with some sweet malt character - cracker and light caramel. After the initial malt note you get a lot of hop flavor. Here the Amarillo really shows with some nice stone fruit notes. There is of course quite a bit of grapefruit and resin as well but the flavor has a lot more Amarillo character than the aroma. A bit of alcohol spice in the finish. Moderate bitterness lingers with the resin note. Finish is slightly sweet. Medium to medium full bodied with medium carbonation. Very low hop astringency and medium low hop bitterness. Overall this is a pretty nice IPA. I prefer a bit less malt character and a drier beer but the hop character is pretty nice. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

On tap at Capitol Beer & Tap Room. Pours dark gold with a thick off-white head and a fruity citrus aroma. There is a rich pale malt flavor with a very bitter finish. A bit dank.

Aromas of butterscotch, fresh hop leaves, grapefruit, fresh orange juice, mango, papaya, peach, some pines and lots of caramel. Pours tan with a thin white foam. Taste brings a very very distinct fresh squeezed tangerine juice characteristic. As well as peach, papaya, grapefruit, lime, orange, stone fruit, citrus, bitter hops, slightly floral but mostly tropical. Hints of caramel, bread and metallic malts and there but the hops steal the show. Very smooth and refreshing finish with a distinct metal note. Overall, it’s fantastic, never had any IPA like it. It’s very unique and tropical fruit forward. A rating.

22 oz. bottle, pours a cloudy golden with a small white head. Aroma is fairly dank with citrus hops and mineraly notes. Flavour is pretty dank, with lots of floral hops and biscuity malt. Wonderfully balanced and actually fairly subtle in the hop department. Very nice.

65 cl bottle @ hotel room, San Diego. Aroma is actually outstanding with lots of tropical fruits and some resin. Flavour has tropical fruits, juicy tones and mild oaty malt. Also pineapple juice. Finishes with grapefruit and mild herbal bitterness. Nice and easy to drink.
