Bottle. Pours clear butterscotch with a small white head that dissipates quickly with some lacing. Aroma is nutmeg, allspice, cinnamon, caramel. Flavor is the same, medium spiced, light sweet, minimal bitterness. Medium body. Not bad, but not really my thing.

Pours orange copper with an attractive off-white head and a strong pumpkin aroma. There is a spicy caramel malt flavor with a lot of natural pumpkin. Not my favorite style, but a good example of pumpkin beer.

Aroma of pumpkin spice and bread. Appears a pale gold with no foam. Very crisp and distinct pumpkin spice flavor overtones. Some caramel, bread, oats and fresh hops are noticeable on the palate. Overall, this is a pleasantly refreshing pumpkin ale. Complexity is fair and body is at a medium. I’d give this a B rating.

Bottle from South Bay Drugs: Created a decent layer of foamed head while the liquid was a glowing golden yellow. Aroma is heavily laced with cinnamon, nutmeg and pumpkin pie like scents which are all signs that this is a good sign that this is a worthy pumpkin ale. The flavor is heavy and rich with authentic pumpkin pie like flavors and is quite possibly the best pumpkin beer I have ever tasted. Seriously, this pumpkin ale makes all the rest look like amateurs compared to this. This nails it right on the head and taste like a liquid pumpkin pie. This is one of the few beers I will be offering my parents to taste since they might enjoy this just like I did.
3.2 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 13/20 JohnnyJ (3533) - San Diego, California, USA - NOV 9, 2011
Draft. Clear orange pour, thin white head, Pumpkin, light sweetness, pie spices, allspice, light cinnamon, and caramel malt. Fairly dry for the pumpkin style, and also pretty light in the body. Ok.

Bottle:   Orangish straw, slight ruby hue, moderate white frothy head, spotty lacing.   More of a citrusy nose than anything.   Spices are subtle, at least secondary to the citrus peel.   Faint cinnamon on the tongue, moreso citrusy.   Seems to be about half and half as this thing finishes, half spiciness and half citrusy.   Very clean on the exit.   Body and mouthfeel are moderate.   Decent little beer, but not as spicy as I would have liked.   The citrus adds an interesting touch.   Big thanks to Richard for getting me a couple of these.
2.7 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 10/20 pantanap (3153) - Chicago, Illinois, USA - OCT 30, 2011
22oz bottle from a recent trade... Pours a medium orange brown, somewhat hazy, and topped with a medium frothy white head... Aroma of a light pumpkin pulp base alongside a small degree of pale malt... Flavors are light with more of a pale malt essence with the pumpkin taking a secondary roleto the aforementioned. Body is lighter than expected with a lively mouthfeel attributed to by the active carbonation. Not the best pumpkin beer.
3.5 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 14/20 LtDan (1676) - Los Angeles County, California, USA - OCT 18, 2011
Appearance: Pours a bright amber orange with a retaining white head.
Aroma: Bready malt, pumpkin meat and potpourri.
Taste: Pumpkin pie spice, bready malt, very dry.
Mouthfeel: Prickly fizz. Medium bodied.
Overall: A dry, simple, session-able pumpkin ale, if there is such a thing.
