COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
This fall seasonal ale is brewed with real pumpkin and a hint of allspice. It pours slightly orange in color with a light sweetness and spicy finish. This beer is no trick and all treat.

Draft at the brewpub! Nose of pumpkin, nutmeg, cinnamon, and light cloves; Cloudy orange (what other color should a pumpkin beer be?) with a medium, glass lacing off-white head; flavor of pumpkin pie with all the spices, caramel, and light hop bitterness which lasts to the finish. Excellent!

On tap at KRBC. Poured a clear golden orangish color, minimal head. Aroma was cinamon, nutmeg, spices. Taste was cloves, pumpkin, nutmeg. Very refreshing on a nice day. Very easy to drink. One of my new favorite pumpkin brews. Nothing tops ST Pumking though.

Bomber thankfully received from IrishBoy. Pours hazy dirty gold with a 3 finger foamy off-white head. The pie spice aroma is detectable a foot away! The nose is incredibly intense. Almost like spice and burnt squash. Maybe cooked squash. Near med body with foamy carb. The allspice is huge. I think I get cooked squash, but this is all about the spice. Brewed with a hint of allspice? I donít think so. This is all about taking the spice to the extreme. Works well!

Bottle from South Bay Drugs: Created a decent layer of foamed head while the liquid was a glowing golden yellow. Aroma is heavily laced with cinnamon, nutmeg and pumpkin pie like scents which are all signs that this is a good sign that this is a worthy pumpkin ale. The flavor is heavy and rich with authentic pumpkin pie like flavors and is quite possibly the best pumpkin beer I have ever tasted. Seriously, this pumpkin ale makes all the rest look like amateurs compared to this. This nails it right on the head and taste like a liquid pumpkin pie. This is one of the few beers I will be offering my parents to taste since they might enjoy this just like I did.

Aroma of pumpkin spice and bread. Appears a pale gold with no foam. Very crisp and distinct pumpkin spice flavor overtones. Some caramel, bread, oats and fresh hops are noticeable on the palate. Overall, this is a pleasantly refreshing pumpkin ale. Complexity is fair and body is at a medium. Iíd give this a B rating.

Nice deep amber with a thin off white head Aroma is libbys pumpkin concentrate, cream, cloves and nutmeg. Taste is pretty similar to the aroma, but with a little more cream. Good pumpkin ale.

UPDATED: FEB 19, 2012 This is by and large the best pumpkin brew Iíve ever had. There is a hit of cinnamon wafting around, as other decadent notes toss your tongue with spices, and a few hops bubble up here and there. The scent is like whiffing a cabinet of cloves and sugar. Not to shirk the greatness of the ale element, there is definitely a solid 6% alcohol volume that should dent the side of your awareness level if you choose to do so. If you go cow-eyed for seasonal brews, pick this guy up.

22 oz bottle very generously given to me by irishboy. Pour is a cloudy yellow golden with a pretty 2 inch white head. Thick sheets of lacing remain on the glass as the head falls. Aroma of spicy gingerbread, nutmeg and pumpkin. The allspice is quite evident as well. Taste is a nice toasty malt base with the allspice, pumpkin, and some milk sweetness. Finishes big with the nutmeg. Very much pumpkin pie taste throughout, nice integration. Palate is medium to heavy, coats the mouth, nice spicy finish. Nice pumpkin beer - thanks for giving this one to me Richard.

Growler shared by Wes. Rating# 20. Golden orange color with a small white head. Light pumpkin spice aroma, clove and allspice. Light sweet flavor, pie crust and spices. Pretty good stuff. (1402)
