Mar 30, 2008 Bottle at Kolding Ølmesse. Pours a copper-golden body with a nice beige head on top. Dusty, chalky nose with hops and a fruityness. Malty sweetness as well. The flavor isn’t as dusty and chalky as the aroma, and has a more pronounced, yet not pushing spicyness. Full bodied and sweetish, almost sticky. Some bitterness in the finish. Quite nice, but there are quite a few better Christmas beers on the Danish market. (080229)

Mar 16, 2008 Hazy, with a dense stable. Flavour of roasted malt, a bit of smoke, liquorice and an unbalanced citric aftertaste that doesn’t suit the beer very well.
