UPDATED: JUN 5, 2012 On tap at Szimpla Kert, Budapest. Opalescent pale color with white frothy head. Hoppy fruity aroma, like IPAs. Mango, orange, citrus, resin, bitter-sweet aroma. Medium bitter taste. medium body with lively carbonation and creamy texture. Long fruity hoppy finish. Very delicious bitter beer. It’s very similar to IPAs. One of the best Hungarian beers.

3.8 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 16/20
UPDATED: OCT 14, 2013 Draught at Szimpla Kert in Budapest.
Incredible to read it’s a lager! it’s seems an IPA, sure I wouldn’t have said it’s a bottom fermentation beer!
Hazy yellow colour, with a big white head, very smooth and fluffy. Very fruity aroma, citrus and coriander. Taste is very bitter, nice herbal notes, and again citrus. It starts sweet, then finishes quite dry.
That’s a nice beer! Maybe the best hungarian beer till now, in my opinion, it was very pleasant and drinkable.

3.5 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 16/20
Great example of Hungarian craft brewing on the up. Great session beer. My friend had a keg at his wedding reception. Similar to a light pale ale you’d find in the states. Tasty and good hop balance.

3 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 2/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 14/20
Aroma is fruity, mostly of mango, suggests an IPA, although this is a lager. Golden colour, hazy, minimal and mostly disappearing head. Medium bitterness. Pleasant beer, a bit unconventional. Draft.

4.1 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 19/20
Bottle / on -tap - Unfiltered hazy, light golden coloured beer with a thin, white head. The aroma is fruity and hoppy (Magnum and Spalt!?). Herbal taste along with a sweet malt base. Leave a really awesome bitterness in your mouth. Currently the best bottom fermented here in Hungary.

@ Főzdefeszt Cloudy, golden coloured beer with a thin, white head. The aroma is fruity and hoppy. The taste is sweet at first but then it’s absolutely bitter with notes of herbs. The finish is long and dry, hoppy bitterness.

4.4 AROMA 9/10 APPEARANCE 5/5 TASTE 9/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 17/20
UPDATED: FEB 11, 2012 It is a real novelty in Hungarian brewing. Freshly evolved from the cheap suburban beer brewed at the Fót Brewery for years. It started out as an experiment in extreme hopping. It is a very sweet strong unfiltered lager almost yellow, with a decent foam.
First it tastes sweet, than hops kick in and its mostly bittering hops driven to the extreme with a lot of exotic and herbal tastes, and then simple hop aftertaste and more sweetness. It is easily drinkable, and you can drink a lot. It is an unbalanced beer with a lot of energy. Great stuff!

The beer is unfiltered living matter: both sight and taste is always changing, evolving. A lot of fresh unfiltered beer yeast is floating, her body almost bite, bitterness vibrant. The bottom of the barrel sits in the yeast over time, and this process is almost the end of the unfiltered beer mirror tisztaságúvá become - along with the taste is simogatóbb, will be stripped. A Bitter Honey unpasteurized beer, preservatives, shelf life, instead of a high degree of alcohol and hops gives antiseptic. Szűretlensége and pasztörizálatlansága not only incredibly ízessé, but also makes it very healthy. In this line, everything is there, which is the world’s most popular drink of his beer.
