Cloudy amber beer. Soft to dry palate. Light well integrated fruit. Spicy malt. Nothing dominates. Okay but a bit uninspiring.

75cl Bottle, shared with Robin and Stefaan, Courtesy of Stefaan. BBF 2011/10. Light hazy darker blond coloured beer with some very light to no carbonation and a short white head. Rather strange chocolat yeasty short herby sweet hinted aroma with some slight roasted hints. Medium to full palate. Finish is rather light, short sweet bitter with a shweet short roasted ending. Not bad.

Swaroga (790) - Brussels, BELGIUM - APR 30, 2012
75cl bottle. Red/brown and hazy with a small to medium tanned head. Nose : Quite strong aroma. Nuts, alcohol, roasted bread, caramel and a bit coffee. Fresh hops. Sip : creamy beer with mouthful carbonation. Mild sweet with deep aromas of wood resin and burned toast bitterness. Burned taste stays and is medium long. The beer is a surprise by it’s beautiful smell and smoked wood aromas. I wasn’t expecting it judging from the bottle. It’s not a great beer neither. OK.

75 cL bottle. Pours hazy brown with a small white head. Aroma is toasted malty and light caramelish. Toasted malty and caramelish, light breadish. Distinctly more dunkel bock than Belgian ale. Smooth caramelish and yet light bitter finish.

Bottle 75 cl. Courtesy of yespr. Pours a cloudy opaque amber with a frothy off-white head. Sweet caramellish nose. Solid body, quite some toffee and oxidized fruits. A twist of sweet licorice. But absolutely no hops. Almost Bock-like. 290212

Bottled. An unclear amber beer with a yellowish head. The aroma has notes of dusty hops, malt, bread, and yeast. The flavor is sweet with notes of bread, lots of fruits - some of them dried, caramel, and nuts, leading to a dry finish. Thanks yespr for sharing.
