Cask-conditioned at the Bag O’Nails, Bristol 17/05/09. Golden with a slight, off-white head. Weird mix of summer fruits, chocolate and hay, with a touch of ash in the finish, Not for me.

Cask/gravity at LD11. Golden brown with a small coarse white head. Malt & a hint of honey on the nose, more chewy malt in the body with a balancing bitterness. A good but somewhat ordinary malty northern bitter.

[500ml bottle from deli in Ullswater] Pale straw golden colour with a healthy carbonation – large head, and constant stream of bubbles. Right down the lines of a bitter golden ale – some mild hop aromas and flavour, a mild astringency but a decent finish. There’s some barnyard in there as well. Drinkable [15012011]

(Bottle 50 cl) Courtesy of Ungstrup. Hazy golden with an off-white head. Unclean and slightly tart fruit aroma. Medium-bodied, lightly tart unclean fruit and a somewhat astringent finish. Not very impressive. 040408

Cask in Keswick. Aroma is pale malts, but with chocolate malts, wierd concidering its very light coloured. Taste is similar like a pale golden bitter with floural hops balancing but dominated by choclate malt?

Bottle @ Cockney, Aarhus. Pours a light pale golden with a small foamy white head. Lots of lacing. Aroma is sweet, some ’wet dog’ and lots of grass. Flavour has lots of grass, flowers, herbs and pine (that is, lots of dry hops). Nice, dry feel to it.
