Clear medium yellow orange color with a small to average, frothy, fair lacing, mostly diminishing, off-white to white head. Aroma is moderate malty, toasted - caramel, fruity, light hoppy, orange - citrus. Flavor is moderate sweet and bitter with a average duration, chlorine notes. Body is medium, texture is oily, carbonation is soft to flat. [20100805]

Cask @ GBBF 2010. Pours a golden color with a small off-white head. Has a fruity malty hoppy grapefruit aroma. Fruity malty hoppy flavor with hints of caramel. Has a dry malty hoppy weak bitter hoppy citrus finish.

Fruity aroma. Golden coloured fruity and hoppy with a hint of bitterness and roast malt in a dry finish.

Hazy gold beer with no real head. Light dry palate. Some dry grapefruit - orange. Big surprise here for a beer of this colour is some smokiness! A little apple as well. Not happy bedfellowes. Very dry finish. Bit of a mess.

Cask@GBBF2010. Golden colour, small white head. Aroma is fruits, wood, nectar and also some slight spicyness. Flavour is quite much the same along with some mild tropical fruit juice as well as mild grassy notes.

Dusty and husky aroma. Slightly smoky grainy taste. Not so well integrated.

From cask. Pours hazy orange with a small white head. Aroma is mild orange fruity and citrusy. Sweet malty, orange fruity and mild peachy. Light bitter and citrusy dry finish. Ends dry.

Cask at The Market Porter. Deep golden with a small froth. Fruity aroma with hints of hay. Medium bitterness, fruity and slightly earthy flavours. Quite good.

[Cask at the Hobgoblin, Reading] Pours pale gold with a moderate but dissipating white head. Creamy and honey to start, before bitter biscuit and dusty straw take over. Hints of citrus behind but it’s really bitter straw that dominates - too bitter for me I’m afraid.
