#279 Danke an quack-duck! Test vom 16.10.2007, Gebinde: Glasflasche Noten: 12,10,12,10,12,12 - 11,40

(Bottle 50 cl) Very pretty fully golden beer with a tall and handsome head. Lovely malty beer with both softness and sweetness and a discreet bitterness to round things off. A noble beer indeed. 270702

33cl fliptop, Edeka. Rebranded as "Ketterer Edel". Noble it is, but then again: "My home is my Fläschle!" is true down-to-earth, near-down-and-out Badian nobility. Unpresuming but fresh, smooth and tasty Pils, in the best of naturtrübe SW traditions: aromatic Tettnang grassiness, lean almond malt profile, even some tartness, ok hop bitterness.

pivnizub (9005) - Bochum, Porúří, GERMANY - NOV 4, 2007
Bottle (Quack-Duck, merci !) : golden coloured, medium-sized, lacy white head, visible carbonation, sweetish-grainy to sweet-malty nose with a touch of bisquits; solid sweetish-bitter flavour, medium bodied; sweet-malty finish with a touch of vanilla and/or bisquits. Not very aromatic, but a good, satisfying session beer......

Geiserich (3465) - Linz, AUSTRIA - NOV 1, 2006
Draught: Fresh aroma with light aromatic hop notes. Creamy head, lively to intensive carbonation, golden color. Flavor is malty, quickly followed by a very dry astringent but not too bitter flavor. Dry, light bitter finish with malt componentes. Quite ok but not to expressive or balanced. A bit thin all in all.

On bottle. The best of the three pilsener that i tasted. Some bitter touch in the taste makes it a good pilsener
