Vollmundig, rund. 10/11/12/12/9/12

Somewhat strange flavor and aroma in this...Pours with a very nice compact head, dies nice and slowly. Bright yellow gold, highly effervescent. More herbal (and I don’t mean the subtle ones, this has a strange bitter vegetal, leafy quality to the aroma and the flavor). Aroma is relatively muted compared to the flavor, but the beer is still a little cold. Extremely fresh and with a brash set of flavors; slight tinge of sourness, moderate-to-high sweetness (sourdough bread, liquid white sugar), moderate bitterness of the leafy type. This is not a subtle helles beer. Natural and a little rough in the beginning, but with warming and the later pour (this is a filtered beer), and resulting big head everything softens just a bit. I like this one a lot.

Bottle from Quack-Duck, thanks! Golden blonde color. Soft malty grassy aroma and flavor. A moderate hop character. Well balanced and not unpleasant.

bottle from Kaufland Pforzheim. Clear golden yellow, large and creamy white head. Malty nose. Medium-bodied, malty, slightly sweet, with grassy-herbal hops in the finish. Mild, but well-crafted and convincing.

Malt and salt in the aroma. Malt and licorice in the flavor. Butter and salt. Hardly any bitterness. Still a tasty beer.

Bottle: Golden, lazy carbonation, small lacy white head; sweetish grainy to dusty nose with a light lemony touch; light to moderate sweet-bitter flavour, medium bodied; sweetish-grainy finish with delicate bitter and estery traces in the aftertaste. Not bad, but boring......

(bottle) Clear, golden colour with a mid-sized foamy white head. Slightly sweet pale malty and biscuity aroma with mineralic and slightly herbal hoppy notes. Moderately sweet flavour, light to medium bodied with a slightly sharp carbonation. Malt-accented taste with chalky and herbal notes; sweet and shy bitter, also a bit fizzy finish. Probably better on tap. 19.V.10

Bottled from a gas station Pforzheim. Very nice golden color, with thick white head. Some lacing, butterhops nose. Malty aroma with some sweetness. Clean taste, enjopyable. Flavour is the same, with nice bitter finish.
