Bottle (courtesy of Quack-Duck!): Clear, pale greenish-golden, mid-sized creamy white head, limited honeyish-malty nose with a mild hop-bitterness; moderate to solid more sweet than bitter flavour, medium bodied, soft; sweet honeyish and pale-malty finish with a small hoppy "tail". Just O.K., nothing special.....

Golden. Light graing aroma. Lighted toasted wheat flavour with a lot of spice and herb. Just did not come across for me.

(bottle) Clear, pale golden colour with a steady and tall foamy white head. Moderately sweet and doughy pale malty aroma with grainy spots, as well as floral and slightly grassy hops. Moderately sweet and slightly bitter flavour, medium bodied with a soft carbonation. Slightly grainy pale malty taste with notes of biscuits and a delicately floral hoppy touch in the background; sweet and slightly bitter finish with a mild hops character shining through. Likeable but not very special. 06.VII.11

Bottle looks really good. Beer in the glass very zippy, huge head. Starts quite strong, intense spicy, not of hay and wheat. Well balanced finish, modest sweet, still fine spicy. Very nice maibock!

Bottle from Quack-Duck, thanks! Golden color. Cookies and a hint of grass in the aroma. Full bodied. Malty sweetish flavor with orange, hints of grass. Maybe a bit sticky, but otherwise a clean mouthfeel. Pleasant to drink.

bottle, Kaufland Pforzheim. Clear golden yellow, large white head. Malty, hints of herbs in the aroma. Intensively malty with a cardboardy background, slightly hoppy.

Bottle. Honey barley malt aroma with light astringency. Golden yellow color with moderate head. Alcohol flavor nearly overwhelms a light barley malt flavor - other than that, not much else flavorwise.
