COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
Das spritzige, helle, obergärige Weizenbier ist naturbelassen und erfrischt durch sein Temperament. Es ist benannt nach Wilhelm Sebastian KETTERER, dem Gründer der Pforzheimer Privatbrauerei. Es gewinnt seine Spritzigkeit und Bekömmlichkeit durch die traditionelle Flaschen- bzw. Fassgärung, die vielen Brauereien heute zu aufwendig geworden ist. Eben nicht in großen Tanks, sondern im abgefüllten Gebinde kann KETTERER SEBASTIAN HEFE-WEISSBIER in temperierten Kammern noch etwa 3 Wochen nachreifen und dabei sein typisches Aroma entfalten.

Unclear hazy light to medium yellow color with a average, frothy to creamy, good lacing, mostly to fully lasting, white to off-white head. Aroma is light malty, wheat, moderate yeasty, fruity, bananam yeast. Flavor is moderate sweet and light bitter with a average to long duration. Body is medium, texture is watery - creamy, carbonation is soft. [20100928]

An extremely sour wheat, very bubble-color, one of the worst wheat beers that I drank. Hopefully, the dark version is better!

Bevuta alla spina a Freudenstadt, mentre mia moglie si mangiava una splendida fetta di Schwarzwald Kirschtorte...Penso che lei sia stata decisamente più fortunata perchè la sua torta era magnifica, la mia birra solo rinfrescante...

Hazy yellow color, creamy white head. Aroma of wheat bun, banana and hints of earth. Wheaty, crisp weizen with notes of sour milk. Some lemon soda flavors in the aftertaste. A bit unclean tap, I suppose.
