bottle, bought at the brewery. Clear, deep golden colour, large and persistent off-white head. Grainy -malty aroma. Medium-bodied, robust malty base with some quite resiny hops, slightly grassy with a lemony touch on the finish. A surprisingly hoppy Weihnachtsbier.

Bottle, thanks Quack-Duck! Raspberrylike aroma. Amber, offwhite lace. The base tastes like dark bread with blueberry jam - solid malt with pleasant fruity flavors, mostly berries, apples. Nice aromatic flowery hops on top, berries retronasal. Mellow sparkly mouthfeel. For once a really interresting German Christmas beer!

Thanks G.B. Pours a golden yellow with a large white head. Smells of deep rich malt, fruit, a little earthy. Sweet and malty, a little metallic flavor, slightly dry on the finish. Medium body and slightly oily feel.

Bottle 50cl, from Quack-Duck a clear amber beer with creamy head. Nose is malty and toffee like. Aroma is nice on toasted, grain, malt, hops, slightly honey, pleasant body and especially nice hops finish on grass and round hops. A good one.
