Draft at the Myrtle Street. Pours a nearly crystal clear pale gold with a loose white head. Big grassy nose--smells like a huge paper bag of damp clippings on a hot day. Incredibly dense body for a lager with slow-rising carb. Toasty cracker and grass mid-palate. Crackery finish. Impressive.

On tap at the brewery. Pours clear yellow with a nice white head and a pils aroma. It’s a refreshing drink on a warm day, well-crafted, with a substantial light malt flavor and a puckering grapefruit finish from the dry hopping.

7oz sample at brewery. Clear pale yellow, foamy white head. Aroma is bread, grain, mild. Taste has some citrus and grain. Medium light body, lively crisp carbonation.

On draught at the brewery’s taproom in Missoula, Montana. Pours a semi hazy golden pale blonde brew with a thick off-white head that slowly dissolves to a white ring and spotty lacing. Aroma of enriched multi-grain bread dough, flowery hops and a touch of sweet sunflower honey. Taste is soft, very little carbonation with a bready flavor. Finish has a good balance of bitterness and bread-like malt flavor with a flowery hop aftertaste.
