COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
Cold Smoke Scotch Ale earned a silver medal in 2002 and a gold medal in the 2007 NABA brewfest. Formulated with Montana grown 2-row barley, northwest Goldings hops, and lotsa love, this hearty ale drinks very smooth. Not bitter at all and not too sweet either. Novice beer drinkers have been known to take a taste and then say, “WOW! That’s not what I expected… that’s GOOD!” A hint of roasted barley lends a slight coffee-like smoky finish. It packs a 6.5% abv punch. Perfect after a day of rippin’ lines on area or your favorite back country getaway. Available in 16 oz aluminum cans. 6.5 % abv (alcohol by volume); 11 IBUs (International Bittering Units)

Quite literally one of the best beers I have ever had. Smooth, dark, rich, with a mild after-taste.

A fine scotch ale with a little bit of coffee taste. Looks incredibly creamy. However, easy to drink. The aroma and smoothness of the ale can hide how high the alcohol content is. Overall, a great beer to enjoy with friends.

Brown-amber with a tan head. Aroma is peat smoke with some dark fruit and toffee. Flavor is very similar with some strong dark fruit notes as well as peat, toffee and caramel. Very malty overall. Medium mouthfeel and medium carbonation.

Tallboy can. Pours clear brown/ruby with average, creamy off-white head; decent retention and minimal lacing. Aroma is caramel, cereal, and toasted malts, figs, raisins, red grapes, and light floral hops. Flavor is sweet bready malts forward with supporting dark fruit esters, light floral hops, and some light earthy notes; dry finish. Medium body and carbonation.

Draft (Nitro) - Caramel, chocolate and smoke on the nose. Dark reddish brown with a nice thick head from the nitro. Smoke and red fruit prevail with a great mouthfeel. A very nice beer on tap.

Had this out of a can, pours a nice dark ruby color with not a lot of head or lacing. Smells chocolatey and sweet also a bit smokey. Taste is sweet but not overly so, nice smokey flavor as well. This is great beer
